Hard to beat Emeraude de Bais

Cagnes-sur-Mer, Monday 31 July: Seven races will be held on the Riviera tonight. The Prix Alexandre Roucayrol (2nd race/6.53 p.m./69,000 euros/2925 m), which belongs to group 3, appeals to a better class.

Emeraude de Bais (Franck Nivard) won an almost identical game here three weeks ago. The clear favorite was nine-year-old Ecureuil Jenilou (Gwenn Junod), Eden Basque (Nicolas Ensch) and El Greco Bello (Jean-Charles Féron). Eberton (Junior Guelpa) and Fifty Five Bond (Christophe Martens) had nothing to do with the closer decision, but in contrast to the faulty fighter Smart (Jean-Christophe Sorel), they were still in contact with the peloton.

Emeraude de Bais, the only mare in the field of ten, shouldn`t let the game go. Honky Tonk Blues (Guillaume Lemoine), who came in second here two weeks ago, shouldn`t be a threat either. Gimy du Pommereux (David Cinier) makes his comeback after a very successful winter meeting, he will probably need this start again.

Dallmayr Prize attracts the elite to Munich

Munich, Sunday, July 30th: On Sunday, turf fans will once again be looking to Munich when the Grand Dallmayr Prize (Group I, EUR 155,000, 2,000 m), an absolutely top event, is held here.

Of course, most of the looks will go to the local hero Fantastic Moon (R. Piechulek), who will be back at the start for the first time since his triumph in Hamburg. Maybe he can emulate Sammarco (A. de Vries), who made the Derby/Dallmayr double in 2022. He is also doing the honors in Riem again. Best of Lips (M. Seidl) and Best Lightning (T. Hammer-Hansen) are fresh group winners. A tough touchstone is Stall Godolphin`s Nations Pride (W. Buick), because his brilliant performances from Dubai are still well remembered. The Frenchman Skalleti (A. Orani) excelled here two years ago and comes again from France with very good chances.

Ten races are waiting between 11:20 a.m. and 4:40 p.m., of which the first five stages also belong to the PMU map in France. In the Konrad Werner Wille-Memorial (listed race, 25,000 euros, 1,400 m) the game seems quite open, maybe Sunset Lane (W. Panov) is far ahead after the recent placement against guests from France.

In the Dallmayr Coupe Lukull - David Conolly-Smith-Memorial (compensation I, 1,600 m), See Paris (L. Delozier) could again offer more than on group parquet. He even started in the derby.

10,000 euros are up for grabs in the four-way bet of the 5th race (level III, 1.600 m). Wynono (S. Biessey) and Funky Lady (A. v. d. Troost) are possible options. The V4 bet offered in races 2 to 5 is worth 10,000 euros.

Nine mares in the Prix Rothschild

Deauville, Sunday, July 30: Today, the La Touques hippodrome in Deauville is the venue for numerous high-quality group tests such as the classic Prix Rothschild (5th race/4:25 p.m./300,000 euros/1600 m). Nine mares compete here to succeed Saffron Beach.

Kelina (Maxime Guyon) and Sauterne (Tony Piccone), who finished first in the Prix de Sandringham (Group 2), should have their first chances. Remarquee (Rob Hornby) arrives from England with strong forms. She finished second in the Coronation Stakes (Group 1) ahead of Sounds of Heaven (Shane Foley) and repeated the result in the Falmouth Stakes (Group 1) behind the superior winner Nashwa, ahead of Mqse de Sevigne (Alexis Pouchin) in second ended up in the Prix Corrida (Group 2). Rogue Millennium (Daniel Tudhope) falls as the Duke of Cambridge Stakes (Group 2) winner ahead of the utterly disappointing Grande Dame (Ryan Moore), who is expected to run better today. Life In Motion (Mickael Barzalona) should also correct her cancellation result from Longchamp. She performed very well in the Dahlia Stakes (Group 2). Little is expected of Tairann (Augustin Madamet).

With the Prix de Cabourg (race 4/3:50 p.m.) and the Prix Six Perfections (race 7/5:35 p.m.) for two-year-old horses and the Prix de Psyche reserved for three-year-old mares (race 6/5:00 p.m.), there are three tests in this category Group 3 on the program.

Etonnant in front of a solvable task

Enghien, Saturday, July 29th: The Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere (7th race/4:58 p.m./150,000 euros/2875 m), which is part of Group 2, is the focus of the nine races today at the Hippodrome in Enghien.

Etonnant (Anthony Barrier) from the stable of owner trainer Richard Westerink, who recently led his protégé to victory here in the Prix de Washington (Group 2), is in good form and class. Possible opponents are Thierry Duvaldestin-trained Oracle Tile (Theo Duvaldestin), most recently third in the Prix Rene Balliere (Group 1) ahead of Elvis du Vallon (Yoann Lebourgeois). Eric The Eel (Franck Nivard) can also count on good chances. The seven-year-old won the Grand Prix du Conseil Municipal (Group 2) in Vichy in front of Elie de Beaufour (Jean-Michel Bazire), whose form curve is pointing upwards again.

Betting spectacle in Bad Harzburg

Bad Harzburg, Saturday, July 29th: On Saturday, a look at the races in Bad Harzburg is even more worthwhile than usual, because there is a lot on offer for the bettors in particular. There are eleven races between 10:50am and 5:30pm, with the first five stages also forming part of the PMU map in France.

In the Grand Prix of the Braunschweigische Landessparkasse - BBAG auction race (37,000 euros, 1,850 m), the mare Kamand (S. Mazur) takes a place of honor on group parquet. Mister Hollow (L. Delozier) showed many good performances. Switsch (E. Pedroza) doesn`t have to stop at last Saturday`s track win.

Two super handicaps, each with 17,500 euros in prize money over 1,850 meters, are real betting puzzles. In equalization III the game seems very open with 16 horses. Maybe Viviane (A. Starke) can do better. Agent Sim (T. Scardino) faces another success. The guaranteed payout in the four-way bet is an impressive 55,555 euros.

In the equalization II super handicap, there is much to be said for another coup by the Dutchman Soller Bay (M. Seidl), because the mare prevailed here last week. But the opponents are lining up, such as the Hamburg winner Gedöns (W. Panov). Here and in the 10th race (compensation IV, 1,550 m) 11,111 euros can be won in a four-way bet.

Mega race at Ascot

Ascot, Saturday 29 July: The King George Weekend at Ascot Racecourse is dominated today by the classic King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes (Race 5/4.40pm/£1.25m/2410m).

Last year`s winner Pyledriver (P. McDonald) from the stable of William Muir and Chris Grassick is doing the honors again. The six-year-old rehearsed here in the Hardwicke Stakes (Group 2) and was victorious for today`s task. He faces Auguste Rodin (Ryan Moore), who once again underlined his dominance of the year after his triumph in the Irish Derby (Group 1). Two more recent winners are in line-up in King Of Steel (Kevin Stott) and Westover (Rob Hornby). The former comfortably won the King Edward VII Stakes (Group 2) on site. The Beckett protégé clinched the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud (Group 1) after losing to Emily Upjohn (Frankie Dettori) in the Coronation Cup (Group 1) but leaving Point Lonsdale (Adam Kirby) well behind. Another big name in the field is Luxembourg (Seamie Heffernan), who recently finished runner-up in the Prince of Wales Stakes (Group 1).

Queen For You the winner in the Lyric Stakes?

York, Friday 28th July: The two-day festival in York kicks off today with a seven-race map centered on the Lyric Fillies Stakes (Race 5/8:15pm/68,000lbs/2063m/listed races).

Queen For You (Robert Havlin), coached by John and Thady Gosden, registers the first chances. The three-year-old just barely missed victory here in May at age group level. Fifth place in the Coronation Stakes (Group 1) confirmed the good running of the Kingman daughter, who this time primarily has to deal with Electric Eyes (Daniel Tudhope). The little tested mare recently announced herself as second in the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes. Midnight Mile (Oisin Orr) proved on location in the Musidora Stakes (Group 3) that she is among the extended top of the year. Long Ago (Oisin Murphy) arrives with two wins and needs to be considered as well as Golden Lyra (Paul Mulrennan) who is better as their current forms reflect.

Minstrel Stakes at Leopardstown

Leopardstown, Thursday 27 July: The Minstrel Stakes (3rd race/16.00/111,600 pounds/1408m), cancelled at the Curragh last Sunday, will be made up today in an eight-race meeting at Leopardstown.

The Group 2 test is reminiscent of Romanised, who won the fixture in 2019/2020. Tarawa (Chris Hayes), from the Dermot Weld quarters, is highly rated after her recent List honours. Zarinsk (Colin Keane) and Lord Massusus (Gary Carroll) were not listed starters four days ago. The three-year-old pleases with her fresh win in the Brownstown Stakes (Group 3), while the Murphy charge ran very well in the Celebration Stakes (List race) when fourth to Tarawa. Aidan O`Brien, who provided the winner of the last two years (Order Of Australia), saddles Salt Lake City (Seamie Heffernan) with first chances. His son Joseph is represented by three competitors. Honey Girl (Dylan Browne McMonagle) should own the best chances. Power Under Me (Seamie Heffernan) will find great following from success in the Amethyst Stakes (Group 3).

Obstacle Highlights in the Harz Mountains

Bad Harzburg, Thursday, 27 July: After a three-day break, the meeting in Bad Harzburg continues on Thursday. The friends of steeplechase will get their money`s worth twice.

In the Preis der Regionsbeweger (List race, 11,111 Euros, 3,500 m, hurdle race) there is a lot to be said for Cabot Cliffs (H. Tabet), who is well remembered from his triumph last year and victory here on Saturday. In a hurdle race over 3,400 metres, La Salinero (J. Kratochvil) or Eisenherz (J. Faltejsek) could bring victory to the Czech Republic.

An equalisation II over 1,550 metres is the most important flat race. Here, Asterix (A. Starke) and Auerbach (W. Panov) are likely to be two of the candidates for victory.

11,111 Euros are guaranteed for the four-horse bet of the 6th race (Compensation IV, 1,550 metres). Wild Sheriff (A. Starke) with the top rider should be a suitable setting horse.

Prix du Medoc with many candidates for victory

Enghien, Wednesday, 26 July: The summer meeting at the Hippodrome d`Enghien Soisy continues today with an eight-race programme. The highest class of day will be addressed in the Prix du Medoc (4th race/18.00/68,000 Euro/2875 m).

Seven to ten-year-old European horses in the winning category up to 365,000 euros are addressed, participants with an account balance of 199,000 euros or more have to pay an allowance. Gamin Jaba (Romain Congard), who finished fourth in the Prix de la Manche (Course A), has good prospects. The seven-year-old, trained by Jean-Michel Bazire, is supported by Gigolo Lover (Nicolas Bazire), who recently finished fifth in a `B` test behind Faubourg (Pierre-Yves Verva) and Fee de Ranchval (Eric Raffin). The latter two are also among the closest favourites. Galantis (Tristan Ouvrie) is another horse from the Bazire stable who will be interesting with ribbon advantage. Hurricane River (Franck Ouvrie) and Flying Brickell (Sebastien Ernault) are to be watched from the front.

Power Papers with chances in Dieppe

Dieppe, Tuesday 25 July: Eight interesting races will be decided today in Dieppe. In the Prix du Grand Pont (7th race/17.18 h/27.000 Euro/1800 m), a handicap of the category `Classe 3`, Andreas Suborics will saddle Power Papers (Bauyrzhan Murzabayev), who won in Longchamp.

The four-year-old will meet plenty of opponents like Pentaour (Christophe Soumillon) and Gemmyo (Ronan Thomas), who also ran well in Paris.Rosetta Stone (Stephane Pasquier) won in Deauville in similar company on the sand track. The gelding, like Lou Man (Theo Bachelot) and Kisswood (Frida Valle Skar), who finished behind second-placed Gemmyo on 29 June, is registering his first chances for a top place.Hans Blume`s Stirling (Benjamin Marie) offered a pleasing performance in Compiegne just behind Power Papers and could surprise.

Lips of Freedom and Pyrus in Compiegne

Compiegne, Sunday, 23 July: Two German horses were entered for the Prix Pelleas (4th race/15.33 h/55,000 Euro/2000 m), which counts as a Listed class, in Compiegne today.

Andreas Suborics saddled Lips Freedom (Martin Seidl), who finished seventh in the German Derby. Sascha Smrczek will try it with Pyrus (Bayarsaikhan Ganbat), who won the Hamburg auction race at the same time. They face danger from Bravais (Bauyrzhan Murzabayev) and Alashar (Cristian Demuro), who ended placed at List level in their most recent appearances. Devil In The Sky (Christophe Soumillon) is also among the meant, he performed well in the Prix du Lys (Group 3). Birr Castle (Mickael Barzalona) and Mister Mister (Aurelien Lemaitre), entered by Joseph O`Brien from Ireland, did not go beyond sixth place in their Group 3-level outings, but meet it easier here. Woodchuck (Simon Planque), like Kovanof (Maxime Guyon), is pleasing with fresh wins.

Mistrel Stakes at the Curragh

Curragh, Sunday 23 July: The Minstrel Stakes (3rd race/16.00/111,600 pounds/1408m) takes centre stage on the second day of the Festival at the Curragh. The Group 2 test is reminiscent of Romanised, who won the 2019/2020 fixture. Tarawa (Chris Hayes), from the Dermot Weld quarters, is highly rated after her List honours. Aidan O`Brien, who provided the winner for the last two years (Order Of Australia), saddles Salt Lake City (Seamie Heffernan) with early chances. His son Joseph is represented by four contenders. Jumbly (Ryan Moore) and Honey Girl (Dylan Browne McMonagle) should own the best chances. Power Under Me (Colin Keane) will find great following from success in the Amethyst Stakes (Group 3).

List race in La Teste-de-Buch

La Teste-de-Buch, Sunday, 23 July: The second Listed race of today`s nine-race event at La Teste-de-Buch is aimed at three-year-old fillies. In the Prix la Sorellina (5th race/16.25/55.000 Euro/1600 m), two wins speak for Secretive (Clement Lecoeuvre), but the Justify daughter trained by Yann Barberot is competing over grass for the first time. Elounda Queen (Cristian Demuro) can also count on good chances, after finishing fifth in the Prix de Sandringham (Group 2) with a victory over Blue Bayou (Alexandre Gavilan) here. Turn Carthwheels (Guillaume Guedj-Gay) and Prija (Anthony Crastus) placed at List level last time. Start Me Up (Aurelien Lemaitre) improved in Compiegne with a place of honour.

Successful title defense for India?

Hoppegarten, Sunday, July 23 - The short summer break is over, and on Sunday the Parkbahn in Berlin-Hoppegarten will be back - with a great highlight: top horses will meet in the Fürstenberg race (Group III, 55,000 euros, 2,400 m). First and foremost the Ittlinger India (A. Starke), who is still remembered from her victory last year. Her France form from 2023 is also worthy of all honors. She should be hard to beat.

Quality Road (S. Vogt) is certainly not to be measured against the Derby performance. It will be interesting to see how he does against the older cracks. Kolossal (W. Panov) did very well in the Group Cup in Italy. An enrichment is the Polish Derby winner Westminster Moon (T. Trullier).

Expect eight races between 11:20 a.m. and 3:20 p.m., with races 1 through 5 also shown in France. The Equalizer II over 2,000 meters also knows how to please. Saludos (W. Panov) can always what is required here, but here seems much possible. In this 8th race stands above the quadruple bet 10,000 euros as a payout.

Vintage at Group-III-Level

Enghien, Saturday, 22 July: Two races will be contested today in Enghien at Group 3 level for 90,000 euros each. The Prix de Milan (4th race/15.15/2150 m) is aimed at four-year-olds. Jazzy Perrine (Eric Raffin), who recently finished third in the Prix Raymond Fouard (Group 3), could be the winner, but Juninho Dry (Paul Philippe Ploquin) and Justin Bold (Jean-Francois Senet), who follow not far behind, are also contenders for a top place. Deus Zack (Benjamin Rochard) is the only competitor to show fresh winning form. In the Prix Caen (Group 3), he beat Juliet Papa Bravo (Clement Duvaldestin), Jazzy Perrine, Jaguar Marancourt (Tony Le Beller) and Jaguar Wit (Mathieu Mottier) to the places.

The one year younger age group will contest the Prix Henri Cravoisier (7th race/17.03/1609 m). Judging by the result in the Prix de Rome (Group 3), the three first-timers Jazzman (Alexandre Abrivard), Knockonwood (Franck Nivard) and Kompostel (Gabriele Gelormini) should again play a leading role, but the faulty Kristal Josselyn (Benjamin Rochard), Kocktail Love (David Thomain) and Kiss Atout (Clement Duvaldestin) should also be considered if they run smoothly. Arriving from Italy with three wins in a row, Brothers In Arms (Tony Le Beller) could spoil the hosts` soup.

Irish Oaks Weekend at the Curragh

Curragh, Saturday 22 July: The Irish Oaks Weekend at the Curragh kicks off today with an eight-race programme centred around the mares` classic (5th race/16.45/500,000 euros/2414m).

Aidan O`Brien is head strong. Four mares come from his stable, including the two favourites Savethelastdance (Ryan Moore) and Warm Heart (Seamie Heffernan). The former finished second in the English Oaks (Group 1) and her stablemate currently won the Ribblesdale Stakes (Group 2) ahead of Lumiere Rock (Dylan Browne McMonagle), who again had to settle for second place after the Blue Wind Stakes (Group 3). Bluestocking (Colin Keane) pleased at Ascot behind the latter two, she battled Warm Heart to victory at Newbury. Azazat (Chris Hayes) narrowly missed her most valuable win in the Munster Oaks Stakes (Group 3) with Library (Gavin Ryan) coming in clear behind. Be Happy (W. Lee) and Comhra (Rory Cleary) are not beyond outsiders` chances despite a good start.

Superhandicaps open the meeting in Bad Harzburg

Bad Harzburg, Saturday, July 22 - It is one of the most popular racing weeks in the entire German gallop year. On Saturday, the five great racing days in Bad Harzburg start with nine tests between 2 pm and 6:20 pm.

Of course, the Superhandicaps stand out once again, which are remarkably highly endowed equalizations over 1,850 meters with 17,500 euros each. In the Equalization III, Agent Sim (T. Scardino) is a domestic owner hope. But there are opportunities en masse here in the large field of 16, as is the long overdue Sky Emperor (S. Terachi). 22,222 euros are on offer in the four-way bet.

In the Equalizer IV counterpart, anything is also possible with 14 participants. 11,111 euros are offered here in the four-way bet. Lady Sand (A. v. d. Recke) and No Stopping Her (M. Pecheur) are two of the many options.

Runnymede with chances of winning in Vichy

Vichy, Friday, July 21: The Prix Jacques de Bremond (6th race/16.35/52,000 euros/1600 m), better known under the unwieldy name Prix Mgpf-Technispectacle, is another highlight of the meeting in Vichy today. The Listed race will be decided with German participation thanks to Runnymede (Rene Piechulek) trained by Sarah Steinberg. The rider from Salzburg currently underlined his strong form with a victory in Lyon. The priority is to beat Russipant Fal (Hugo Journiac), who followed up a Listed triumph in Longchamp ahead of Anthorus (Maxime Guyon) and God Blessing (Ioritz Mendizabal) in Chantilly with third place in the Prix Bertrand du Breuil (Group 3), which counts as Group 3. Nano Nagle (Mickael Barzalona) is known to the German public from the Grand Prix of Economy (Group 3). The mare disappointed in last place. Deep Hope (Cristian Demuro) scored exclusively over sand this year.

Figge and Hickst in the Prix Madame Jean Couturie

Vichy, Thursday, July 20: It continues without a break today in Vichy, where the Prix Madame Jean Couturie (5th race/16.08 pm/55,000 euros/2000 m) marks the main event. The Listed race appeals to three-year-old mares. Michael Figge will travel from Munich with the still winless La Donna (Augustin Madamet), who finished second last time. This is no easy task for the Adlerflug daughter, who is up against eleven mares in good form. German hopes also rest on Frozen (Bauyrzhan Murzabayev), who is saddled by Waldemar Hickst. She delivered a good performance in Hamburg at Group 3 level in fourth place. Among the closest favorites are Wild Pansy (Mickael Barzalona) and Haleine (Gerald Mosse), who ran strongly in Saint-Cloud, and Zeeyara (Maxime Guyon), who already won in Chantilly. Maylin (Antonio Orani) convinced as third in the Italian Oaks. Like the current winner The Last Waltz (Theo Bachelot), she belongs on the shortlist.

Wednesday, July 19, 2023

Kertez the favorite in the Grand Prix de Vichy

Vichy, Wednesday, July 19: The meeting in Vichy continues today with eight races. Eight horses will compete in the Grand Prix de Vichy (6th race/21.45pm/80,000 euros/2000m), which is part of Group 3. After a series of top placings, Kertez (Maxime Guyon) from the Andre Fabre quarters is in line to win. Currently, the five-year-old earned second place in the Grand Prix de Chantilly (Group 2). Hooking (Aurelien Lemaitre) also took the place of honor in his latest start. In the La Coupe (Group 3), he left Monty (Gerald Mosse) behind, who was clearly better than Kertez in the Prix du Conseil de Paris (Group 2) in October. One For Bobby (Christophe Soumillon) travels from the island with good form and should also play a major role here. Bolthole (Mickael Barzalona), Naranco (Ioritz Mendizabal) and Wonderful Times (Alexis Roussel) should be noted with their fresh winning forms, as should Harry Way (Cristian Demuro), runner-up three times in a row.

Form horses in the Défi du Galop

Vichy, Tuesday, July 18: Eight races are on the program today in Vichy. Decided at Listed level is the Prix Hubert Baguenault de Puchesse (6th race/20.55pm/52,000 euros/2400m), the 7th leg of the Défi du Galop racing series.
Golden Call (Tony Piccone) and Aude (Maxime Guyon) are two contenders with good chances, who last knew how to please in defeat in the Grand Prix de Lyon (Listed race). The former won before that the Grand Handicap de Chantilly after fight among others against Diamond Vendôme (Marie Velon), against whom he had lost in April in the `Classe 3`. Opasan (Vaclav Janacek) surprised on his seasonal debut in Lyon by finishing second to Mika d`O, who won in Cagnes-sur-Mer. The six-year-old can be penciled in for victory, as can Winema (Guillaume Guedj-Gay), who finished second in the Prix Fille de l`Air (Group 3).

Monday, July 17, 2023

Zarakem ahead of fourth win in Prix Frederic de Lagrange

Vichy, Monday, June 17: Nine races are offered today in Vichy. On list level moves the Prix Frederic de Lagrange (7th race/19.55h/55.000 Euro/2400 m), in which five three-year-old horses are under order. Zarakem (Antonio Orani) won his third race in a row in Marseille and seems destined for bigger races. He will have to watch out for Zulu Warrior (Augustin Madamet). After some good placings, the Saxon Warrior son recently scored his first career win in Compiegne. Zarir (Mickael Barzalona) made a double strike in Lyon and appears to have just as much chance as Back To Black (Cristian Demuro), who recently finished fourth against strong horses, and Double Major (Maxime Guyon), for whom the narrow success in Angers speaks.

Sunday, July 16, 2023

Winter Queen winner in Prix Chloe

Chantilly, Sunday, July 16: A full ten-race program is on tap today at Chantilly. At Group 2 level, two-year-olds will be tested in the Prix Robert Papin (3rd race/14.33pm/130,000 euros/1200m). All five participants have already won. Ramatuelle (Aurelien Lemaitre) made an excellent impression here in the Prix du Bois (Group 3) and another success is inevitable. Myconian (Bauyrzhan Murzabayev) and Balsam (Clemet Lecoeuvre) showed strong fighting skills at list level in Deauville and Vichy respectively. Classic Flower (Cristian Demuro) has yet to lose a race in two appearances. His Majesty (Ryan Moore) always cut a good figure at the Curragh and at Ascot.

Also only five horses will compete in the Prix Messidor (5th race/15.50pm/80,000 euros/1600m) one category down. Erevann (Cristian Demuro) from the stable of Jean-Claude Rouget could score his first win of the season after finishing third in the Prix du Muguet (Group 2) and fifth in the Prix d`Ispahan (Group 1). Topgear (Stephane Pasquier) continued his upward trend with a place of honor in the Prix Bertrand du Breuil (Group 3) ahead of Ancient Rome (Bauyrzhan Murzabayev) and, like Fast Raaj (Alexis Pouchin), who won at List level in Nantes, and fifth-placed Reshabar (Theo Bachelot), is in contention for the very front.

BBAG Diana Trial the stepping stone to the classic

Mülheim, Saturday, July 16 - Mülheim will host an important preparatory race for the Prize of Diana on Sunday. In the BBAG Diana Trial (Listed race, 25,000 euros, 2,000 m), it`s down to business for the three-year-old mares and the ticket to the Classic on August 6.

The match seems very open in a bulging field of 13 horse ladies. Very convincing was the success of Incrackable (W. Panov) in Hanover. Global Queen (S. Byrne) and Extrabunt (A. de Vries) are also interesting current maiden winners. Dalvida (A. Starke) already brings a recommendation at this level. French Nasella (E. Corallo) is unlikely to make the trip to Raffelberg without a real background.

Eight races will be run here between 10:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., including a 1,400-meter allowance II. Kongo (S. Vogt) remains a strong factor on dried ground.

In the "7 wins!" wager in races 2 through 8, 77,777 euros beckon as a guaranteed payout.

20,000 euros stand over the four-way bet of the 8th race (Equalizer IV, 2,200 m). This includes a jackpot of 11,953.80 euros. The local heroine Adjö (A. v. d. Troost) looks very dangerous here.

Etonnant tests Hohneck in Prix de Washington

Enghien, Saturday, July 15: A fast-paced test promises to be today`s Prix de Washington (7th race/17.00/120,000 euros/1609 m).

The protagonists are Hohneck (Gabriele Gelormini) and Etonnant (Anthony Barrier). The former ran in the Prix Rene Balliere (Group 1) after winning the Elitloppet and finished second to Capital Mail (David Thomain) and Fric du Chêne (Paul Philippe Ploquin), who had nothing to do with the closer decision in fourth and seventh. The Westerink protégé could not defend his title in the Elitloppet after a short mistake and ended fifth, under value. In the Kymi Grand Prix (Group 1), the nine-year-old left no doubt about his great class and won against Callmethebreeze (Franck Nivard), whose good form continues. Bleff Dipa (Roberto Vecchione) was better than Capital Mail in second place in the final of the Gran Premio de la Lotteria (Group 1) and the Italian also took the silver medal in the Grand Premio Gaetano Turilli.

New duel between Shaquille and Little Big Bear in the July Cup

Newmarket, Saturday, July 15: The final event of the July Festival in Newmarket offers once again great sport. In the main race, the sprinters are addressed in the July Cup (6th race/5.35pm/600,000 pounds/1207m).
The two youngest in the field, Shaquille (Rossa Ryan) and Little Big Bear (Ryan Moore), register first chances after their duel in the Commonwealth Cup (Group 1). There`s not much difference between the three-year-olds trained by Julie Camancho and Aidan O`Brien, so an exciting outcome is inevitable. Also expected to be in the front running are Azure Blue (Paul Mulrennan) and Kinross (William Buick). The mare currently won the Duke of York Stakes (Group 2), while the six-year-old disappointed at Ascot on his seasonal debut at Group 1 level when finishing seventh. That fixture was won by a complete surprise by Khaadem (Rob Hornby), who will be keen to repeat that result.

Dresden Summer Prize with top line-up

Saturday will be marked by an attractive German gallop event in Dresden. Seven tests will be run here between 2:05 p.m. and 5:35 p.m., including the Sommerpreis (list race, 25,000 euros, 1,400 m), a top event.

A number of horses that oscillate between group and list class will do the honors here, such as Waldeza (S. Vogt). Zandjan (L. Delozier) brings a top recommendation from Hamburg. Atlanta City (W. Panov) excelled in an auction race here. 11,111 euros beckon in this race as a payout in the four-way bet.

Prosperous Voyage steps up to defend title

Newmarket, Friday 14 July: On the second day of the July Festival at Newmarket, the Falmouth Stakes (4th race/16.35pm/250,000 pounds/1609m) will be in focus. Last year`s winner Prosperous Voyage (William Buick) celebrated her first success of the season in the Princess Elizabeth Stakes (Group 3).

Most recently in the Duke of Cambridge Stakes (Group 2) she put in another good performance when third, but was not quite up to the second-placed Random Harvest (Saffie Osborne). Via Sistina (Jamie Spencer) underlined her strong form with a triumph in the Pretty Polly Stakes (Group 1). She should also play a major role as last year`s Oaks third Nashwa (Hollie Doyle) and Remarquee (Rob Hornby), who only had to let one rival go in the Coronation Stakes (Group 1). Coppice (Tom Marquand) announced himself with a handicap win.

Three-kilometre highlight in Hanover

Hanover, Friday, 14 July: The stage is set for another long weekend for gallopers in this country. Because on Friday, Hanover has an after-work race day to offer at the Neue Bult. Between 4:15 pm and 8:45 pm, ten races will be held.

The absolute highlight is the Grand Prix of meravis (Listed race, 25,000 euros, 3,000 m). Surely the way to victory leads over the Hamburg winner Nastaria (M. Lopez). Valcava (S. Vogt), Sir Filip (R. Piechulek) and Niagaro (A. Starke) might be best to stay with her.

Of course, the foursome bet will also be offered. 10,000 euros are guaranteed to be paid out in the 5th race (Equalisation III, 2,400 m). Virginia Cat (S. Byrne) is a possible set horse.

Grand National du Trot in La Rochelle

Châtelaillon-La Rochelle, Thursday, 13 July: The eighth leg of the provincial series Grand National du Trot (4th race/17.35 h/90,000 Euro/2500 m) will be decided today in Châtelaillon-La Rochelle. Not as usual, the Group 3 match will be started by car.

After three `GNT` wins in a row, Horace du Goutier (Hugues Montule) goes to the expiry as favourite. He took a good length off Gaspar d`Angis (Eric Raffin) in the recent Langon leg, but the underdog showed all his class in Le Croise-Laroche to win superiorly over higher rated horses. No bet should be made without Elie de Beaufour (Jean-Michel Bazire). After a drop in form, the nine-year-old made a comeback in the Grand Prix du Conseil Municipal (Group 2). A victory is only a question of time. Falco d`Havaroche (Louis Baudouin) should run better this time, which also applies to Heliade du Goutier (Matthieu Abrivard). Doux Parfum (Denis Brossard) and Etoile de Bruyere (Charles Dreux), who surprisingly won in March in front of the sulky, are conceivable in front.

Curtain up for the July Festival

Newmarket, Thursday 13 July: The July Festival will take place on the Rowley Mile in Newmarket until Saturday.

The summer spectacle opens with the Bahrain Trophy (1st race/14.50pm/200,000 pounds/2610m). The semi-classic for three-year-old horses sees Aidan O`Brien`s Tower Of London (Ryan Moore) as the winner. Two bull`s-eyes in a row favour him, but Gregory (Cieren Fallon), who ran strongly in the recent Queen`s Vase (Group 2) to finish second, and Castle Way (William Buick), who was other goods at Listed level here, will make the outcome exciting.

Nine two-year-old stallions/geldings are under order in the July Stakes (2nd race/15.25pm/100,000 pounds/1210m) at Group 2 level. Purosangue (Ray Dawson), Malc (Oisin Orr), Chief Mankato (William Buick) and Mountain Bear (Ryan Moore) have already announced themselves emphatically.

Only four horses will contest the Princess of Wales Stakes (4th race/16.35pm/125,000 pounds/2410m). Adayar (William Buick) from the quarters of Charlie Appleby and Godolphin should not let himself take the lot. The five-year-old, who was convincing when finishing third in Group 1 at Ascot last time, only has to fear Israr (Jim Crowley) and Global Storm (James Doyle).

Group 3 riding in Enghien

Enghien, Tuesday 12 July: The Enghien Summer Meeting continues today with an eight-race programme. The highlight of the card is the Group 3 Prix Jean-Paul Fairand (3rd race/17.18h/90.000 Euro/2875m).

The young riders` race appeals to horses in the winning category up to 650,000 Euros. Judging by her place of honour in the Prix Guillaume de Bellaigue (Group 3), the path to victory leads via Fiesta de Froulay (Andrea Roussel). The six-year-old was briefly seen at the lead, allowed herself to be drawn on the inside as the race progressed and came to within a length of the `unlosable` Granvillaise Bleu at the distance. Also expected to be in the front pack are the top three finishers of the Prix Baptiste Ferchaud (Course C), Gef de Play (Helene Godey), French Way of Life (Loanne Fauchon) and Estelle Nordique (Esteban de Jesus). Django du Bocage (Estelle Croisic) runs differently, but with March honours, the Meunier protégé should be far. Happy and Lucky (Thais Peltier) would have nothing to fear when on top form, but both June performances cast doubt. Fulton (Floribert Augustin Wartel) pleased when second in the Prix Paul Delanoe (Group 3).

Mares in the Pipalong Stakes

Pontefract, Tuesday 11 July: Today`s six-race event at Pontefract will focus on the Pipalong Stakes (3rd race/16.20pm/50,000 pounds/1615m), which is reserved for mares.

A year after Thunder Beauty, trainer David O`Meara and jockey Daniel Tudhope are trying to follow up with Love Interest, but the mare, who has been inconspicuous so far this year, is only one of the outsiders. Purplepay (Tom Marquand) will receive more encouragement. The four-year-old, trained by William Haggas, ran at Group 1 level in Australia this year, but ended up unplaced. Last year she won the Prix de Sandringham (Group 2) in Chantilly. Fall In Love (Ray Dawson) competes under new management after an unsuccessful attempt in the Cape Verdi (Group 2). In the Prix de l`Opera she did respectably in the midfield against strong Group 1 mares. Al Agaila (James Doyle) won three races over the winter on the sand track. Dha Leath (P. McDonald) is recommended by her four wins last year. Espressoo (Joe Fanning) and Kingmania (Robert Havlin) are possibilities at any time.

Fabre victory in the Prix de la Pepiniere?

Chantilly, Monday, 10 July: At the beginning of the week, nine races will be decided in Chantilly. Four-year-old fillies will contest the Prix de la Pepiniere (5th race/15.33/48,000 Euro/2100 m), which is part of the list class. Andre Fabre will saddle two of the eight participants.

Mqse de Sevigne (Bauyrzhan Murzabayev) took an excellent place of honour in the Prix Corrida (Group 2) as well as in the Prix Allez France (Group 3) before Romagna Mia (Theo Bachelot), who is still looking for her best form after her Italian victory last year at Group 1 level. Mqse de Sevigne is supported by Manisha (Alexis Pouchin), but the four-year-old has to run better today than in Longchamp, where she was disappointingly last. Darkaniya (Mickael Barzalona) currently won in the handicap. She, like her stablemate Clemmie C (Maxime Guyon), must be included in any consideration. Shabana (Tony Piccone) was seen in Hanover this year, but could not convince. Suyian (Clement Lecoeuvre) recently met with too much difficulty against the stallions/geldings. Omnia Munda Mundis (Gerald Mosse) is difficult to calculate with her Italian forms.

PMU race day in Cologne

Cologne, Sunday, 9 July: In cooperation with the French PMU, nine races will be held today in Weidenpescher Park from 10.50 am. The first five tests will be brokered to France.

In the equaliser 1, the Früh Kölsch race (5th race/12.50 h/17,000 Euro/1850 m), all eyes will be on Movin Time (Lukas Delozier) from the stable of Christian von der Recke. After two starts on the sand track in France, the five-year-old is making his comeback under top weight. He will be tested by La Loire (Bayarsaikhan Ganbat), who won in June, and Lightning Jock (Rene Piechulek). Sporting (Vladimir Panov) and Rufolo (Lilli-Marie Engels) are other in-form opponents.

Good horses can also be seen in Remy`s race (4th race/12.20 pm/7,200 Euros/7,200 Euros/Equalisation 3). Here the four-horse bet is offered. Downtown (Rene Piechulek) could make it to the front again after his surprising Maiden triumph in Hamburg, but the opponents are lurking headstrong. Power On (Vladimir Panov), Shano (Esther Ruth Weißmeier), Why`s Whyoming (Liubov Grigorieva) are possible challengers.

Strong guests in the Prix Jean Prat

Deauville, Sunday 9 July: A full card of ten races is on offer in Deauville today. There is also a big crowd in the classic Prix Jean Prat (5th race/15.50/400.000 Euro/1400 m), in which twelve three-year-olds are still under order after the early withdrawal of Habana.

Chaldean (Oisin Murphy) is considered the favourite. The Andrew Balding-trained colt last ran in the St James Palace Stakes (Group 1) and finished second to Charyn (David Egan) and Indestructible (Kevin Stott), who finished not far back. At the same time Shouldvebeenaring (Christophe Soumillon) ran in the Commonwealth Cup (Group 1), but was not quite convincing when finishing seventh. He fared better before that in the Sandy Lane Stakes (Group 2). Breizh Sky (Maxime Guyon), who was slightly ahead in the Prix Paul de Moussac (Group 3) against Good Guess (Stephane Pasquier), Showay (Anthony Crastus) and Belbek (Bauyrzhan Murzabayev), is also expected to be in the front running. Meditate (Ryan Moore) could beat them all despite a mediocre performance in the Coronation Stakes (Group 1).

Small but fine field in the Eclipse Stakes

Sandown, Saturday 8 July: Just four horses were left standing at the last scratch for the Eclipse Stakes (4th race/16.40pm/750,000 pounds/2002m), the highlight of the Summer Festival at Sandown today.

A duel is brewing between Aidan O`Brien`s Paddington (Ryan Moore) and Emily Upjohn (William Buick) from the quarters of John and Thady Gosden. The three-year-old has not yet had to tolerate an opponent in front of him in four appearances this year. He won the St James`s Palace Stakes and the Irish 2000 Guineas at the highest level. The mare only competed in the Coronation Cup (Group 1) this year. She easily beat Westover by almost two lengths, who is under order 15 minutes after the Eclipse Stakes in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud. Dubai Honour (Tom Marquand) could steal the show from the two favourites. The Haggas protégé last ran in the Queen Elizabeth II Cup (Group 1) at Sha Tin and finished third. West Wind Blows (Jamie Spencer) is currently in first place in the Hardwicke Stakes (Group 2).

Full concentration on Miesau

Miesau, Saturday, 08 July: If a race organiser is clever, he can secure top dates for himself. Like the Miesau racecourse, because on Saturday the German gallopers will enjoy full attention here. Eight races will be held here between 3 pm and 6:30 pm. Six times it is the gallopers` turn, twice the trotters.

The former series winner Achat (R. Weber) and Starfix (T. Scardino) should decide a 1,400-metre test between themselves. A total of 45 horses will be competing.

Kick-off to the Summer Festival at Sandown

Sandown, Friday 7 July: The two-day Summer Festival begins today at Sandown Park Racecourse with Saturday`s Eclipse Stakes taking centre stage.

In the second Listed race, the Sandown Marathon (3rd race/16.05pm/50,000 pounds/3260m), Estacas (Billy Loughnane), formerly trained by Andreas Wöhler and bred by Fährhof Stud, faces five rivals. His main rivals include the over three million pound Yibir (William Buick), who was only sixth in the Ascot Gold Cup (Group 1) last time out. Sleeping Lion (Ryan Moore) rehearsed for today`s task here in the Henry II Stakes (Group 3) when third. Ocean Wind (Jim Crowley) achieved the same placing two years ago. Since then, the ex-series winner has not been at the expiry.

In the Gala Stakes (5th race/5.15pm/50,000 pounds/2000m) it should be enough for John and Thady Gosden`s Saga (Ryan Moore) to win. In the Wolferton Stakes (List race) he was fifth in the picture, while Poker Face (James Doyle), Notre Belle Bete (William Buick), Savvy Victory (Tom Marquand) and Certain Lad (Hollie Doyle) running in the same race came away empty-handed, but should do better this time.

Moonlight Touch with the deserved hit?

Leipzig, Thursday, 06 July: Summer is also the time for evening races in German Turf. On Thursday, Leipzig will have its say with an after-work date at Scheibenholz and seven races between 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm. At the second of the four dates in 2023, a real highlight will be presented.

Because there will be an Equalisation II over 2,300 metres. Moonlight Touch (E. Pedroza) in the form from Iffezheim and Ako Casanova (M. Pecheur), who has run to the front several times in France, are very interesting candidates here.

In the opening 1,300-metre handicap, it looks like a hit for form trainer Frank Fuhrmann, as he offers three of the seven horses. Tommorah (M. Pecheur) now looks to be in line after taking honours. Casinomaster (J. Gecergün) is currently putting in an amazing workload.

Interesting races in longchamp

Longchamp, Thursday, 6 July: Eight races will be decided today in Longchamp. The Prix du Pont Mirabeau (5th race/19.35/40.000 Euro/2000 m), run as a handicap, appeals to three-year-old horses.

Despite maximum weight, Swing Vote (Mickael Barzalona), trained by Andre Fabre for Godolphin, should be the winner. Two wins and a fifth place at List level at Chantilly speak for him. Five pounds cheaper in the lot is Khahira (Christophe Soumillon), who had no chance in the Prix de Diane (Group 1). Before that, she collected smaller place money here at an upmarket level. Splendino (Anthony Crastus) almost became a series winner in Marseille, but the Reynier stallion was narrowly beaten by A Minardiere (Thomas Trullier), who finished well behind Khahira in the Prix de la Seine (List race). Haptics (Clement Lecoeuvre) recently won a Quinté handicap after battling Lofsongur Islande (Eddy Hardouin), among others, who finished fifth for the third time in a row. Circeo (Gerald Mosse) was at least better in the Prix de Guiche (Group 3) than Rajapour, who finished tenth in the French Derby.

Eight interesting races in Enghien

Enghien, Wednesday 5 July: Eight thoroughly challenging races will be decided today at Enghien, where the introductory Prix Florence Lecellier (1st race/16.08/59,000 euros/2875m) brings together the highest class of the day at the start.

In this `Course D` with horses in the winning category up to 270,000 euros, participants with an account balance of 170,000 euros or more have to pay an allowance. Great of Madrik (Matthieu Abrivard) should be able to cope with the extra 25 metres, as his most recent victory in Vincennes was very commanding. Gendreen (Alexandre Abrivard), who was third in Grand National du Trot last time, and Gold Voice (David Thomain), who followed about two lengths behind in sixth, should also play a supporting role. Of the basic brand, Fifty Black (Anthony Barrier), winner twice at Vincennes in June, stands out. Fairplay Forever (Francois Lecanu) showed an improvement in form at Mauquenchy and is expected to be in the front line, as is the show-stopping Fax Madrik (Franck Ouvried) and Drop de l`Iton (Eric Raffin), whose May victory deserves a note.

Izoard Vedaquais still top with allowance?

Vichy, Tuesday, 4 July: One of the highlights of the season in Vichy is the Grand Prix du Conseil Municipal (6th race/16.43 h/120,000 Euro/2950 m), which belongs to Group 2 and is contested today by eleven horses from two bands.

Trainer Jean-Michel Bazire is represented with two horses. He himself rides Elie de Beaufour, who finished well in the Prix des Ducs de Normandie (Group 2) in fifth place, and his son Nicolas rides Gently de Muze, who finished fourth and was already clearly ahead of his stablemate here in the Prix Vichy Celestins (Course A). Both have to make up an allowance, which is also true for Izoard Vedaquais (Alexandre Abrivard). The Bird Parker son, trained by Philippe Allaire, started his career with a winning streak, but had to settle for mostly place finishes last year. At his comeback in the Prix Jean le Gonidec (Group 3), he pleased with third place. Ideal du Pommeau (Matthieu Abrivard) has first chances with ribbon advantage. Last year`s winner of the Grand Prix de l`U.E.T. (Group 1), however, enters from the break. Gitano (Theo Duvaldestin) hurries from victory to victory, but will have to improve considerably here, which also applies to Kennedy (David Bekaert), who narrowly missed out on full success in the Prix de New York (Course A).

Lots of variety in La Teste-de-Buch

La Teste-de-Buch, Monday, 3 July: A colourful nine-race card with steeplechase, Arabian and flat races goes over the stage at La Teste-de-Buch today. Three-year-olds are the target of the Prix Andre Belinguier (8th race/14.57 h/30,000 Euro/1600 m), a mile test in the `Classe 1` category.

Trainer Jean-Claude Rouget saddles two horses. With Elounda Queen (Jean-Bernard Equem), who recently finished fifth in the Prix de Sandringham (Group 2), and Zvikov (Coralie Pacaut), who finished fourth at List level in Toulouse, he is among the closest favourites. Blue Bayou (Mickael Barzalona) enters as a fresh two-time track winner. She is expected to be in the front-runners as well as Belinskov (Alexis Pouchin), who is now running over grass for the first time after a successful winter season. Rising Up (Guillaume Guedj-Gay) and Bet Me (Theo Bachelot) won their latest outings, while Famoso (Fabrice Veron) and Dayak (Frida Valle Skar) finished second.

Second Derby victory for Auguste Rodin?

Curragh, Sunday 2 July: Nine horses are under order today in the Irish Derby (4th race/16.40/1m Euro/2414m). Aidan O`Brien has won the classic 14 times and the champion trainer could round up through Auguste Rodin (Ryan Moore). The three-year-old showed his great talent in two Group successes last year. The Deep Impact son scored his biggest goal so far in the English Derby.

Auguste Rodin will be supported by Adelaide River (Seamie Heffernan), San Antonio (Wayne Lordan), Peking Opera (Tom Marquand) and Covent Garden (Declan McDonogh), but according to the trade press, they are only among the outsiders. White Birch (Dylan Browne McMonagle) and Sprewell (Shane Foley), who finished well behind the O`Brien protégé in third and fourth place at Epsom, are considered to have a chance of winning. Prior to that, the latter triumphed in superior fashion over Up And Under (Mike Sheeky) and Proud And Regal (Gavin Ryan) in the Derby Trial (Group 3). White Birch lost the Dante Stakes (Group 2) in York only after a hard fight.

Who will make history in Hamburg?

Hamburg, Sunday, 02 July: The wait is over, on Sunday it is Derby time again in Hamburg-Horn. The IDEE 154th German Derby (Group I, 650,000 Euros, 2,400 m) will not only attract fans to the racecourse in the Hanseatic city, but also to all betting shops or in front of their screens and mobile phones.

Who will follow Sammarco? That is the question. 20 candidates will do the honours this time. The derby will also be broadcast to Hong Kong for the first time. The favourite goes to Straight (E. Pedroza), who left many competitors behind in great style in the Cologne Union. Mr Hollywood (L. Delozier) also ran the expected good race as second. Fantastic Moon (R. Piechulek) already won two group races. Winning Spirit (S. Vogt) also looks dangerous as second in the Derby Italiano. But in the Derby a lot is always possible!

Of course, the supporting programme could hardly be better with twelve races between 10:45 am and 5:35 pm.The first five races and the Derby will also be shown in France. Two more group races for mares stand out.In the Brümmerhofer Mare Mile (Group III, 55,000 Euros, 1,600 m) Tamarinde (R. Piechulek) could again offer more than in the 1,000 Guineas. But against Muskoka (A. Madamet) it might not be an easy course. In the Hermann Schnabel Memorial Race (Group III, 55,000 Euros, 2,200 m) for three-year-old ladies, the Röttgen Stud seems to be well represented with the Diana Trial winner Kassada (A. Starke).

Two auction races also promise top sport.77,777 Euros (with a jackpot of 68,852.53 Euros) are guaranteed in the "7 wins!" bet.20,000 Euros are to be earned in the four-way bet of the 8th race (Hapag Lloyd race, 2,200 m), 11,111 Euros each in the four-way bet of the 4th race (Equalisation III, 2,200 m) and the 12th race (Equalisation IV, 2,000 m).

Derby Festival kicks off

Curragh, Saturday 1 July: The Derby Festival at the Curragh, which runs until Sunday, starts today with an eight-race programme. The most valuable race on the card is the classic Pretty Polly Stakes (4th race/16.25pm/300,000 euros/2012m).

Above The Curve (Ryan Moore), an impressive winner in the Prix Corrida (Group 2), will start as favourite. Close on the betting market is Via Sistina (Jamie Spencer), who was other goods in the Dahlia Stakes (Group 2). Rosscarbery (W. Lee) is also among the mean. She won the Munster Oaks Stakes (Group 3). Never Ending Story (Wayne Lordan) took a respectable honours place in the Prix de Diane (Group 1), which needs to be confirmed. Insinuendo (Declan McDonogh) rehearsed here in the Lanwades Stud Stakes (Group 2) when third. She is even more likely to surprise than Stay Alert (Ronan Whelan), who finished fifth in the Middleton Stakes (Group 2).

Elite horses in the Hansa Prize

Hamburg, Saturday, 01 July: July starts and the Derby week in Hamburg enters its very hot final phase on Saturday. Because already the day before the Blue Ribbon attracts with great sport. In the Grand Hansa Prize (Group II, 70,000 Euros, 2,400 m) some of the best older German racehorses will compete.

The best current recommendation is brought by Northern Ruler (E. Pedroza) as winner of the Baden-Baden Grand Prix, when Assistent (T. Hammer-Hansen) and Derby winner Sammarco (A. de Vries) disappointed as strongly bet horses. Sisfahan (L. Delozier) also already won the Derby (2021). And Aff un zo (A. Starke) is especially proven over long distances.

Between 10:50 a.m. and 4:50 p.m., a total of twelve races are on the card, with an Equalisation I over 2,200 metres standing out. Several strongly improved horses will be competing here, such as Akua`rius (A. de Vries), Only the Brave (K. Phillip) or Autumn (S. Vogt). 10,000 Euros each will be offered in the four-horse bets of the 7th race (Equalisation II, 1,200 m) and the 12th race (Equalisation II, 1,600 m).
