Group 3 riding in Enghien

Enghien, Tuesday 12 July: The Enghien Summer Meeting continues today with an eight-race programme. The highlight of the card is the Group 3 Prix Jean-Paul Fairand (3rd race/17.18h/90.000 Euro/2875m).

The young riders` race appeals to horses in the winning category up to 650,000 Euros. Judging by her place of honour in the Prix Guillaume de Bellaigue (Group 3), the path to victory leads via Fiesta de Froulay (Andrea Roussel). The six-year-old was briefly seen at the lead, allowed herself to be drawn on the inside as the race progressed and came to within a length of the `unlosable` Granvillaise Bleu at the distance. Also expected to be in the front pack are the top three finishers of the Prix Baptiste Ferchaud (Course C), Gef de Play (Helene Godey), French Way of Life (Loanne Fauchon) and Estelle Nordique (Esteban de Jesus). Django du Bocage (Estelle Croisic) runs differently, but with March honours, the Meunier protégé should be far. Happy and Lucky (Thais Peltier) would have nothing to fear when on top form, but both June performances cast doubt. Fulton (Floribert Augustin Wartel) pleased when second in the Prix Paul Delanoe (Group 3).
