Vintage at Group-III-Level

Enghien, Saturday, 22 July: Two races will be contested today in Enghien at Group 3 level for 90,000 euros each. The Prix de Milan (4th race/15.15/2150 m) is aimed at four-year-olds. Jazzy Perrine (Eric Raffin), who recently finished third in the Prix Raymond Fouard (Group 3), could be the winner, but Juninho Dry (Paul Philippe Ploquin) and Justin Bold (Jean-Francois Senet), who follow not far behind, are also contenders for a top place. Deus Zack (Benjamin Rochard) is the only competitor to show fresh winning form. In the Prix Caen (Group 3), he beat Juliet Papa Bravo (Clement Duvaldestin), Jazzy Perrine, Jaguar Marancourt (Tony Le Beller) and Jaguar Wit (Mathieu Mottier) to the places.

The one year younger age group will contest the Prix Henri Cravoisier (7th race/17.03/1609 m). Judging by the result in the Prix de Rome (Group 3), the three first-timers Jazzman (Alexandre Abrivard), Knockonwood (Franck Nivard) and Kompostel (Gabriele Gelormini) should again play a leading role, but the faulty Kristal Josselyn (Benjamin Rochard), Kocktail Love (David Thomain) and Kiss Atout (Clement Duvaldestin) should also be considered if they run smoothly. Arriving from Italy with three wins in a row, Brothers In Arms (Tony Le Beller) could spoil the hosts` soup.
