Winter Queen winner in Prix Chloe

Chantilly, Sunday, July 16: A full ten-race program is on tap today at Chantilly. At Group 2 level, two-year-olds will be tested in the Prix Robert Papin (3rd race/14.33pm/130,000 euros/1200m). All five participants have already won. Ramatuelle (Aurelien Lemaitre) made an excellent impression here in the Prix du Bois (Group 3) and another success is inevitable. Myconian (Bauyrzhan Murzabayev) and Balsam (Clemet Lecoeuvre) showed strong fighting skills at list level in Deauville and Vichy respectively. Classic Flower (Cristian Demuro) has yet to lose a race in two appearances. His Majesty (Ryan Moore) always cut a good figure at the Curragh and at Ascot.

Also only five horses will compete in the Prix Messidor (5th race/15.50pm/80,000 euros/1600m) one category down. Erevann (Cristian Demuro) from the stable of Jean-Claude Rouget could score his first win of the season after finishing third in the Prix du Muguet (Group 2) and fifth in the Prix d`Ispahan (Group 1). Topgear (Stephane Pasquier) continued his upward trend with a place of honor in the Prix Bertrand du Breuil (Group 3) ahead of Ancient Rome (Bauyrzhan Murzabayev) and, like Fast Raaj (Alexis Pouchin), who won at List level in Nantes, and fifth-placed Reshabar (Theo Bachelot), is in contention for the very front.
