Obstacle Highlights in the Harz Mountains

Bad Harzburg, Thursday, 27 July: After a three-day break, the meeting in Bad Harzburg continues on Thursday. The friends of steeplechase will get their money`s worth twice.

In the Preis der Regionsbeweger (List race, 11,111 Euros, 3,500 m, hurdle race) there is a lot to be said for Cabot Cliffs (H. Tabet), who is well remembered from his triumph last year and victory here on Saturday. In a hurdle race over 3,400 metres, La Salinero (J. Kratochvil) or Eisenherz (J. Faltejsek) could bring victory to the Czech Republic.

An equalisation II over 1,550 metres is the most important flat race. Here, Asterix (A. Starke) and Auerbach (W. Panov) are likely to be two of the candidates for victory.

11,111 Euros are guaranteed for the four-horse bet of the 6th race (Compensation IV, 1,550 metres). Wild Sheriff (A. Starke) with the top rider should be a suitable setting horse.
