Prix du Medoc with many candidates for victory

Enghien, Wednesday, 26 July: The summer meeting at the Hippodrome d`Enghien Soisy continues today with an eight-race programme. The highest class of day will be addressed in the Prix du Medoc (4th race/18.00/68,000 Euro/2875 m).

Seven to ten-year-old European horses in the winning category up to 365,000 euros are addressed, participants with an account balance of 199,000 euros or more have to pay an allowance. Gamin Jaba (Romain Congard), who finished fourth in the Prix de la Manche (Course A), has good prospects. The seven-year-old, trained by Jean-Michel Bazire, is supported by Gigolo Lover (Nicolas Bazire), who recently finished fifth in a `B` test behind Faubourg (Pierre-Yves Verva) and Fee de Ranchval (Eric Raffin). The latter two are also among the closest favourites. Galantis (Tristan Ouvrie) is another horse from the Bazire stable who will be interesting with ribbon advantage. Hurricane River (Franck Ouvrie) and Flying Brickell (Sebastien Ernault) are to be watched from the front.
