New duel between Shaquille and Little Big Bear in the July Cup

Newmarket, Saturday, July 15: The final event of the July Festival in Newmarket offers once again great sport. In the main race, the sprinters are addressed in the July Cup (6th race/5.35pm/600,000 pounds/1207m).
The two youngest in the field, Shaquille (Rossa Ryan) and Little Big Bear (Ryan Moore), register first chances after their duel in the Commonwealth Cup (Group 1). There`s not much difference between the three-year-olds trained by Julie Camancho and Aidan O`Brien, so an exciting outcome is inevitable. Also expected to be in the front running are Azure Blue (Paul Mulrennan) and Kinross (William Buick). The mare currently won the Duke of York Stakes (Group 2), while the six-year-old disappointed at Ascot on his seasonal debut at Group 1 level when finishing seventh. That fixture was won by a complete surprise by Khaadem (Rob Hornby), who will be keen to repeat that result.
