Lots of variety in La Teste-de-Buch

La Teste-de-Buch, Monday, 3 July: A colourful nine-race card with steeplechase, Arabian and flat races goes over the stage at La Teste-de-Buch today. Three-year-olds are the target of the Prix Andre Belinguier (8th race/14.57 h/30,000 Euro/1600 m), a mile test in the `Classe 1` category.

Trainer Jean-Claude Rouget saddles two horses. With Elounda Queen (Jean-Bernard Equem), who recently finished fifth in the Prix de Sandringham (Group 2), and Zvikov (Coralie Pacaut), who finished fourth at List level in Toulouse, he is among the closest favourites. Blue Bayou (Mickael Barzalona) enters as a fresh two-time track winner. She is expected to be in the front-runners as well as Belinskov (Alexis Pouchin), who is now running over grass for the first time after a successful winter season. Rising Up (Guillaume Guedj-Gay) and Bet Me (Theo Bachelot) won their latest outings, while Famoso (Fabrice Veron) and Dayak (Frida Valle Skar) finished second.
