Eight races in Vincennes

Paris-Vincennes, Monday, 12 December: Eight `normal` races are on the programme at Vincennes at the beginning of the week. Saddle trotters in the prize category up to 145,000 euros will contest the Prix de Nimes (2nd race/17.03 hrs/40,000 euros/2850 m). The young rider category sees Gui d`Erable (Leo Balu) as the winner.

The six-year-old won a similar fixture here just under a fortnight ago with great authority over Guapo Marboula (Alan Gendrot), who finished second to Moses (Celine Eliane Lemaire) in good keeping before that. Mateo de Reve (Tiphaine Levesque) runs equally strong in front of the sulky and under saddle. His last victory was in November. Garry Thoris (Thomas Roullier) should not be judged by his current form in front of the sulky, which also applies to the Swedish guest Upper Face (Celine Hubin), who already showed an approach here a year ago. Gavroche Best (Alexandre Bodin) is diligently collecting place money, which he should be able to do again this time.
