Leopardstown, Sunday, April 2: Two trials to the Irish Guineas are up for decision today at Leopardstown.

In the colts` 2000 Guineas Trial Stakes (2nd race/15.35pm/55,000 euros/1420m), Group 1 runner-up Hans Andersen (Ryan Moore) from Aidan O`Brien`s quarters is seen ahead. Jessica Harrington`s Bold Discovery (Shane Foley) ran Group 3-placed last year and also registers first chances at the start of the season. Caracci (Seamie Heffernan) is recommended by his win at Dundalk.

There is a big crowd for the fillies in the 1000 Guineas Trial Stakes (3rd race/16.10pm/55,000 euros/1420m). Never Ending Story (Ryan Moore), who finished third in the Critérium des Pouliches (Group 1), could come off as the winner. The O`Brien lady will be tested by Tarawa (Chris Hayes) from the stable of Dermot Weld. She won here in better horse style. Zarinsk (Colin Keane) also pleased on this course when triumphing in a Listed race. At the same level, Matilda Picotte (Ronan Rhelan) won at Newmarket. Dame Kiri (Wayne Lordan), Madly Truly (Dylan Browne) and Not Even Close (Oisin Murphy) showed great potential in their victories.
