Strong three-year-olds in the Prix des Pins Noirs

Fontainebleau, Tuesday, November 8: Eight races comprise today`s event at Fontainebleau. Among the better tests is the Prix des Pins Noirs (2nd race/12:30/28,000 euros/1800 m). Five horses remained at the last cancellation for the lot of the category `Classe 2`. Scottish Anthem (Mickael Barzalona) could become a series winner here. After Compiegne, the gelding trained by Andre Fabre for Godolphin last won a heavy Quinté handicap superiorly by three lengths in Saint-Cloud. Frivole (Maxime Guyom) will certainly give him a run for his money after underlining her strong form with two placings in October. Little-tried Bennetot (Stephane Pasquier) ends a lengthy break. He announced himself as second at list level in March. Darkaniya (Hugo Journiac) also lacks sufficient racing experience but has already won in remarkable fashion. Hollyhock (Aurelien Lemaitre) currently ran in handicaps, is expected to be in the front line with the performances achieved in the first half.
