Niagaro in the Prix Denisy

Saint-Cloud, Wednesday, 9 November: An interesting Listed race from a German point of view will be decided today in Saint-Cloud with the Prix Denisy (5th race/14.12 pm/52,000 Euro/3100 m). Sarah Steinberg will saddle Niagaro (Rene Piechulek), who was the superior winner in Mülheim, for the Salzburg stable.

Before that, the three-year-old ran in the auction race and was third behind the current Group 1 winner Tünnes. Waldemar Hickst will try to improve on his fifth place from the Prix Belle de Nuit (Group 3) with Normfliegerin (Mickael Barzalona) for the Wittekindshof Stud. Pavel Vovcenko`s Lubiane (Marie Velon) is aiming for a good place after two difficult tasks in the Prix du Cadran (Group 1) and the Silver Horse (Group 3). Control Tower (Stephane Pasquier), who had no opportunities in the Prix de Royallieu (Group 1), but before that showed a good performance in the Prix Kergorlay (Group 2) when finishing fifth, has to be beaten. The long-distance specialists Or Gris (Maxime Guyon) and Blue Swan (Gregory Benoist) as well as Mighty Blue (Dylan McMonagle), trained by Joseph O`Brien and travelling from Ireland, are further contenders for victory.
