Opening with the best class

Paris-Vincennes, Monday, 21 Novemer: The best class of the day will be addressed today in Vincennes for the opening race in the Prix de Montignac-Charente (1st race/13.50 h/90,000 Euro/2700 m). The Course A test addresses horses in the winning category up to 460,000 euros.

Despite a crisis of form, Fine Colline (Matthieu Abrivard) is pushing her way to victory. The mare won her last race in the summer after battling Diego de Cahot (Theo Duvaldestin) and here she celebrated a superior success in spring ahead of Elite de Jiel (Francois Lagadeuc), among others, who is also expected to be in the front running. Also conceivable in the closer decision is the in-form Epsom d`Herfraie (Eric Raffin), whose performance at the last winter meeting should be noted. Equinoxe (Jean-Philippe Monclin) deserves a hint as second in the Prix de New York (Course A) ahead of Marcello Wibb (Jean-Michel Bazire), among others. The latter pleased here a fortnight ago as `B` third only not far from the winner. The aforementioned Diego de Cahot narrowly missed out on victory in the Prix de Moulins-la-Marche (Course B) and placed clearly ahead of Evariste du Bourg (Yoann Lebourgeois), Marcello Wibb and Farah des Caux (David Thomain).
