Great handicap on Friday in Hoppegarten

Hoppegarten, Friday, 16 September: The range of gallop races in Germany is extensive again this week. Already on Friday, seven competitions will take place in Berlin-Hoppegarten between 4 pm and 6:45 pm.

An Equaliser I (15,000 Euros, 1,600 m) stands out in this after-work event. The three-time season`s winner Western Soldier (B. Murzabayev) is once again to be reckoned with. With blinkers on, the gelding from Peter Schiergen`s stable has never lost. For Way to Dubai (E. Pedroza) it should be easier than with rank four at List level.

Two-year-old horses are on the move in the mile. Here, a duel between the impressively bred Northern Monarch (E. Pedroza) and Saint Cloud (R. Piechulek), who came second in Iffezheim, is in the offing.

10,000 euros are up for grabs in the four-horse race of the 6th race (Equalisation IV, 2,000 m). Here Lotte (L. Wolff) and Orkan von Marlow (C. Santangelo) are two possible reserve horses.
