Grand National du Trot in Meslay-du-Maine

Meslay-du-Maine, Wednesday 7 September: The tenth leg of the Grand National du Trot racing series (1st race/13.50/90,000 euros/2875m) addresses 16 horses from three bands at Meslay-du-Maine today.

Loaded with a simple allowance is the immensely in-form Farrell Seven (Jean-Michel Bazire), who has already taken the lap of honour seven times this year and is once again the horse to beat. A band more favourable are Faredgio Menuet (David Thomain), Haribo du Loisir (Leo Abrivard) and Evita Madrik (Alexandre Abrivard), who are expected to be in the front-runners despite mixed form. Easton of My Life (Eric Raffin) has a fresh winning performance from Cabourg and should attract attention, as should Douceur du Chêne (Franck Nivard), who ran strongly in Cagnes-sur-Mer, and Django du Bocage (Arthur Rebeche), who is an experienced `GNT` contender. Fulton (Damien Bonne) runs his best races under saddle.
