Young riders in the Prix Jean Paul Fairand

Paris-Vincennes, Friday, July 1: With horses in the prize category up to 650,000 euros, the Prix Jean Paul Fairand (7th race/22.11 p.m./90,000 euros/2200 m) will be decided today in Vincennes. In the saddle of the nine participants sit without exception young riders. Florida Sport (Noe Perron), who won impressively during the Elitloppet meeting in Solvalla, is on the verge of another success, but to do so he will have to get rid of Chalimar de Guez (Alan Gendrot), who recently finished second in the Prix Paul Delanoe (Group 3). Fulton (Matilde Herleiksplass) runs his best races under saddle. In the Prix Roger Ledoyen (Group 3), however, the seven-year-old did not get around the course smoothly and finished well behind Chalimar de Guez and Carioca de Lou (Thomas Roullier), who was better than Egao Jenilou (Leo Balu) in the Prix Perseus (Course A). Caban Prior (Alexandre Bodin) runs reliably to the front and is long overdue for the win.
