Grand Prix of Lotto Hamburg kicks off the final weekend

Hamburg, Friday, July 01 - Also the third day of the Derby meeting in Hamburg-Horn offers first-class sport, because on Friday there are not only twelve races between 11:35 a.m. and 5:35 p.m., but also again a group highlight: The Grand Prix of Lotto Hamburg (Group III, 55,000 Euros, 1,200 m) is all about the class flyers.

First choice seems to be Waldersee (E. Pedroza), trained by Andreas Wöhler, who showed his best side at List level in Hanover and finished fourth here last year. His training companion Danelo (J. Bojko) has recently shown good improvement and can be expected to make this jump. Best Flying (M. Seidl) should continue last year`s performance as a two-year-old and the hit in auction races in Dresden. Of the guests, the Norwegian double winner Could Be King (C. Lopez) could be the most interesting.

The first three races are also part of the PMU card. An Equalizer II over 2,200 meters deserves much attention. Panjari (E. Pedroza) looks to continue on his way up.

The four-race bet with a payout of 10,000 euros each will be offered in the 7th race (Equalizer IV, 2,800 meters) and in the 12th race (Equalizer IV, 1,400 meters).
