Summer Festival at Sandown

Sandown, Friday, July 1: The Summer Festival at Sandown begins today with a seven-race program centered on three Listed trials. Over the middle distance is the Gala Stakes (5th race/5.05pm/52,000 pounds/2000m). Addeybb (Tom Marquand), worth around four million euros, could record his first success of the season after finishing a good third here in the Brigadier Gerard Stakes (Group 3). Among his fiercest pursuers are Harrovian (James Doyle), Regal Reality (Ryan Moore) and Foxes Tales (David Probert), who currently finished third, fourth and sixth in the Wolferton Stakes (Listed race) during Royal Ascot.
