In Crowd the horse to beat

Nantes, Monday, 20 June: The Hippodrome de Nantes starts into a new week with eight races. The highlight is the Grand Prix Anjou Bretagne (2nd race/12.30 pm/62.000 Euro/1600 m), which belongs to the list class.

In Crowd (Olivier Peslier) should be able to prevail in the eight-strong field. Fredie Head`s protégé recently corrected his Listed-level strike result at Longchamp and easily won his second race of the year by a length. First chances are also given to Axdavali (Gregory Benoist), although he blatantly disappointed Prix du Palais-Royal (Group 3). His previous good performances speak in his favour. Doctor Carl (Cristian Demuro), who has run mostly on the sand track this year, is a model of consistency and is once again expected to be in the front line. Susu`s Dimples (Mickael Barzalona) switched from the sand track to the grass track and promptly landed a win in a tough Quinté handicap, something Wildwood (Sebastien Maillot) also managed in March. Crohanne (Simon Planque) scored at an upmarket level last year. Kribi (Mathieu Androuin) sat out over a year after finishing fifth in the Prix Vanteaux (Group 3).
