Derby-Trial in Hannover

Hanover, Sunday, 19 June: Very good sport is on offer in Hanover today. Two of the nine races have list status. Ten three-year-olds can still jump on the Derby train in the Trial (6th race/16.15 h/22,500 Euro/2200 m). Angelino (Clement Lecoeuvre) certainly did not run as Henk Grewe had imagined in the Union race (Group 2). This time there should be more in it. Zacapo (Martin Seidl) from Andreas Suborics` quarters showed a clear improvement in the superior victory here, but had only been on a shorter track so far. Agneta (Vladimir Panov) is also the track winner. Melekan (Michael Cadeddu) could excel in Cologne. Waldadler (Eduardo Pedroza), Salvatore (Michal Abik) and Blue Lion (Leon Wolff) also attracted attention with victories.

The older sprint horses will be addressed in the Grand Prix of the Sparkasse (4th race/15.05 h/22,500 Euro/1300 m). Danelo (Eduardo Pedroza) announced himself emphatically as fourth in a similar Listed match and could celebrate his most valuable victory. Dhahabia (Clement Lecoeuvre), arriving from France, ran in the handicap last time and surprised in the front line. Together with Kindred Spirit (Hugo Journiac), who also comes from the neighbouring country, she should play a leading role. Zandjan (Michael Cadeddu) was very successful in Munich. Anno Mio (Lilli-Marie Engels) surprised last year, but cannot avoid the role of outsider. Buddy Bob (Thore Hammer-Hansen) and Artista (Vladimir Panov) also have little going for them.
