Marianafoot makes a comeback

Chantilly, Tuesday 3 May: Three Listed races will be the focus of today`s event in Chantilly. Derby age group and older horses will be addressed.

The three-year-old stallions will contest the Prix de Suresnes (4th race/15.35/55.000 Euro/2000 m). Jean-Claude Rouget and Christophe Ferland each have two participants. The former saddles the favourite with Al Hakeem (Cristian Demuro). On 14 March, the Siyouni son won in strong style. His stable mate Hauran (Coralie Pacaut) has already been successful on the Riviera this year. Yoozuna (Maxime Guyon) gave his visiting card in Saint-Cloud. Touristic (Ronan Thomas) could not convince at list level recently. Mirsky (Olivier Peslier) and Zarakhan (Alexandre Gavilan) are recommended by their recent successes Lordrecord (Mickael Barzalona) was beaten only one length by Zarakhan.

Nine mares are under order in the Prix des Lilas (5th race/16.10 pm/55,000 Euro/1600 m). Jean-Claude Rouget saddled Ataared (Cristian Demuro), another horse with good chances. The third on the list will meet the fresh Maiden winner Piz Gloria (Stephane Pasquier), who is just as much a favourite as the unbeaten Missyouni (Aurelien Lemaitre). Anterselva (Gerald Mosse) and Situveaux (Maxime Guyon) ran together in a `Classe 1` and did very well behind the top three. Singforthemoment (Olivier Peslier) has already been successful at List level. Pennine Hills (Mickael Barzalona) makes her French debut, announcing in England and Ireland.

The Prix Servanne (7th race/17.20/52,000 euros/1200m) is the target for Marianafoot (Gerald Mosse), whose last victory in the Prix Maurice de Gheest (Group 1) was the last so far. At the start of the season in a `Classe 2` during the Riviera meeting, he did not finish higher than third behind the winning King Gold (Thomas Trullier ). The Reynier protégé`s priority to watch out for is Egot (Mickael Barzalona), who narrowly came home against Live (Maxime Guyon) in the Prix Cor de Chasse (Listed race) in Fontainebleau. Midlife Crisis (Olivier Peslier) and Stormbringer (Tony PIccone) were reasonably in the picture in fifth and seventh.
