rest of Cheltenham

the main supporting race is the Ryanair Chase over 2 miles 5 furlongs at 15.40 CET and we expect a victory for one of the greys here: either Al Ferof (Paul Nicholls/ Daryl Jacob) or Dynaste (David Pipe/ Tom Scudamore). They both ran in the King George at Christmas, where Al Ferof was third and Dynaste a below form fifth, but the latter is better than that and his second place at Haydock to Cue Card (who won this last year) was excellent form. Today´s trip will suit Al Ferof ideally and he looks certain to be placed. The obvious danger is Benefficient (Tony Martin/ Davy Russell), who won the Jewson here last year from Dynaste, and we expect these three to dominate here.
Paul Nicholls has not had a great Cheltenham so far, but we expect all that to change today and he also has a good chance in the third Grade One on the card, the novice chase at 14.30, where he saddles Wonderful Charm (Jacob), who is actually just top-rated here. He was narrowly beaten by Oscar Whisky (Nicky Henderson/ Barry Geraghty) earlier in the season and means him on better terms now, but that one is also well fancied - after all he finished 3rd in the Champion Hurdle here in 2011, while the main Irish hope Felix Yonger (Willie Mullins/ Ruby Walsh) was runner-up in the Neptune last year. Taquin du Seuil (Jonjo O´Neill/ McCoy) also has a verdict over Oscar Whisky this season and this looks very tricky.
Not nearly as tricky however as the 3 handicaps on today´s card, which all have 23 runners and look wide open. Our very tentative suggestions (all each-way) are Trustan Times (Tim Easterby/ Ryan Mania) at 15.05, and the two top-weights Champion Court (Martin Keighley/ Ryan Hatch) at 17.00 and Roberto Goldback (Henderson/ Sam Waley-Cohen) in the amateur´s race at 17.40.

Betting forecast:
1. Race: Felix Yonger - Wonderful Charm - Oscar Whisky
2. Race: Fingal Bay - If In Doubt - Josies Orders
3. Race: Al Ferof - Benefficient - Dynaste
4. Race: Annie Power - Big Buck`S - At Fishers Cross
5. Race: Colour Squadron - Tap Night - Sraid Padraig

6. Race: Indian Castle - Cause Of Causes - Balnaslow
