3 more poor meetings today

Once again, very little of significance at today´s 3 meetings, over jumps at Market Rasen (very soft soing) and on the all-weather at Southwell and Lingfield. Tony McCoy is riding at Market Rasen, and we think he has fair each-way chances on both of his mounts for Jonjo O´Neill: Interior Minister at 14.20 CET, Spookydooky at 15.20 and Last Shadow half an hour later. Grate Fella (Sue Smith/ Ryan Mania) looks the likeliest winner of the 15.50. McCoy also has a chance on top-weight Honest John for Steve Gollings at 16.50; this one is rather unreliable, but this is a very weak race and if he is in the right mood should be able to see off this opposition. The all-weather action is, if anything even poorer. At Southwell we fancy CD specialist Abi Scarlet (Hughie Morrison/ Ryan Powell) to take the 6 furlongs handicap at 16.40; all her 4 career wins have been over this CD, including last time out in a weak seller, and she gets weight all round here. At Lingfield, Nassau Storm (Will Knight/ Andrea Atzeni), another recent CD winner, can follow up at 17.00.
