Sad Sunday

After the glamour of the Derby meeting, today´s cards are very low level. The only flat racing comes from Nottingham, where we expect Kingsgate Choice (Ed de Giles/ Liam Keniry) to win the 5 furlongs handicap at 16.20 CET following his easy win at Lingfield. There might possibly be some decent horses running in the maiden race for 3yo fillies at 17.50, where Chigun (Sir Henry Cecil/ Tom Queally) is our choice to atone for a poor performance last time. Over jumps, Emma Lavelle might land an across the card double with Pause and Clause (Timmy Murphy) in the beginners chase at 15.40 at Uttoxeter and Red Rock (Dominic Elsworth) in the handicap hurdle at 17.30 at Fontwell. The racing in Ireland is no better, with an all-jumps card at Kilbeggan and a mixed card (4 flat races, 3 over hurdles and a bumper) at Listowel.
