Hallelujah!

N.H. racing returns today with an excellent card at Cheltenham. The only problem is that the ground on parts of the cross-country course is frozen in places, so that race has been abandoned. The other 6 races go ahead and are all highly competitive. The rest of the weather news however is bad. Today´s N.H. meetings at Doncaster and Gowran Park (Ireland) are off, so are tomorrow´s at Doncaster, Fairyhouse (now rescheduled for the fourth time to next Wednesday) and Lingfield - where an all-weather card will be staged instead. Navan (Ireland) and Fakenham on Sunday have already been called off, but there are still hopes for Huntingdon and Cork (Ireland)
