Fairyhouse Easter Festival, third day

the Fairyhouse Easter meeting goes into its third day with very heavy ground once more, but the track has passed an early morning inspection. Ruby Walsh was the hero here yesterday with 4 winners and should be on the scoreboard again today, when he has several promising rides for Willie Mullins, such as Double Deejay in the Grade 3 hurdle for 4yo´s at 15 .30 CET and Definitive Edge in the Grade 2 novice hurdle half an hour later; however both British challenger Frascati Park (Nigel Twiston-Davies/ Aidan Coleman) and Whodoyouthink (Oliver McKiernan/ Keith Coleman) look dangerous here. Mullins has more than one runner in the two valuable handicaps here, but one can assume that Ruby had the choice of them, so that Jayo, in the chase at 16.35 and C´est Ca in the hurdle race at 17.10 must also have good chances, although both events look wide open. We also fancy Perce Rock (Tommy Stack/ Tony McCoy) in the former race, and recent CD winner New Phase (Dermot Weld/ Davy Russell) and Jigalo (Joanna Morgan/ Andrew McNamara) in the latter.

Betting forecast:
1. Race: Barcardero - Silent Creek - Major Glendinning
2. Race: Doctor Deejay - Politeo - Cross Appeal
3. Race: Whodoyouthink - Frascati Park - Rigour Back Bob
4. Race: Psycho - Jayo - Perce Rock
5. Race: New Phase - C`Est Ca - Moville
6. Race: Dun Doire - Hi Cloy - Ballistraw
7. Race: The Bosses Cousin - Frisco Depot - Escudero
