N.H. racing at Huntingdon and Thurles (Ireland)

Nicky Henderson launches another strong attack today, this time at Huntingdon. He starts off with 2 runners in the mares novice hurdle at 15.00 CET and both Ryde Park (Barry Geraghty) and Lady Rhinestone (Tony McCoy) should be involved, although the latter is making her debut over sticks here. His chances are even better in the novice chase at 16.05, where You´re the Top (Geraghty) and Tanks for That (McCoy) should outclass their 2 opponents.

He can also take the main event, the Sidney Banks Memorial at 16.35 with Master of the Hall (although Paul Nicholls´ The MInack looks a big threat here) and the handicap chase at 17.10 with Zanzibar Boy, both partnered by Geraghty.
At Thurles the main feature is the Grade Two novice hurdle over 2 1/2 miles at 14.55. This looks quite tricky, as Premier Victory (Tom Hogan/ John Cullen), arguably the best horse in the field of 8, has not run for some time and probably would not want the going too soft. Under the circumstances we prefer Willie Mullins´ pair Quadrillon (Ruby Walsh) and Kerb Appeal (Paul Townend), especially the latter, who is moving up in grade here but was a very easy winner last week at Navan. However Ruby fares here, he should win the opening maiden hurdle at 14.25 on Tony Martin´s Siberian Tiger.
