today´s jumps meetings at Hereford and Leopardstown (Ireland) were abandoned long ago, leaving the all-weather track at Southwell staging the only racing in Britain and Ireland today. It looks likely that all-weather racing will continue to monopolise the scene for some time to come, as the prospects for racing on turf in the next few days seem non-existent. More snow is expected and the temperatures will remain below freezing for the next few days. although there could be some slight improvement at the end of the week.
