Lingfield and Kempton

Lingfield´s 7 furlongs handicap at 15.10 CET is by far the best race of the day, a most competitive event with 13 runners. The two top-weights Atlantic Story (Mick Easterby/ Jamie Spencer) and Ceremonial Jade (Marco Botti/ Jerry O´Dwyer) are both top CD specialists, as is Eisteddfod (Paul Cole/ Eddie Ahern). Imprimis Tagula (Alan Bailey/ Lee Newnes) is one of the stars of the winter season, having won 4 of his last 5 races, but meets much tougher opposition this time, as does last-time-out winner Fathsta (David Simcock/ Martin Lane). Ebraam (Sean Curran/ Robert Winston) is weighted to get the better of Imprimis Tagula this time, In a very tricky race, our each-way fancy is Eisteddfod, also behind Imprimis Tagula last time, but who should be much better suited by this track.
At Kempton, Tiddliwinks (Kevin and Annie Ryan) looks the best bet of the day. The way he has won his last two races including this CD, suggests that he may well run up a sequence on the all-weather and that a 6 lbs penalty and top-weight will not stop his taking the 6 furlongs handicap here at 15.55. Lujeanie and Vhujon were first and second over this CD last time and can fill the minor places. Also at Kempton, we like the look of Lyrical Intent (Paul Howling/ Jimmy Quinn) at 14.25, My Deal (Eve Johnson Houghton/ Tom Queally) half an hour later, and Fly by Nelly (Hughie Morrison/ Steve Drowne) at 15.25. For those looking for a long-shot we recommend David´s Mark (John Jenkins/ Simon Whitworth) at 16.25.
