Catterick today

Catterick now stages the only jumps racing today, and after Howard Johnson and Denis O´Regan landed a treble at Newcastle on Wednesday (the first N.H racing in the north of England for a month!) this could once again be the team to follow. Fortysecond Street can take the beginners chase at 14.20 CET for them and they also have good chances in the better handicaps with Percussionist (don´t forget he was 4th in the Derby 6 years ago!) at 14.50 and Canada Street over fences half an hour later. Milans Mill in the 3 mile novice hurdle at 15.55 could be another winner for the stable, although on this occasion we prefer Tilt (Brian Ellison/ Keith Mercer), who was a decent stayer on the flat and kept on well when winning here over shorter on his hurdling debut. Drever Street can round off a good day for the Howard Johnson stable by taking the 2 mile handicap chase at 16.30.

Betting forecast:
1. Race: Royal Flynn - Mardood - Authentic Act
2. Race: Fortysecond Street - King Fontaine - John Forbes
3. Race: Percussionist - Vasodilator - War Party
4. Race: Dawn Ride - Canada Street - Shrewd Investor
5. Race: Tilt - Milans Man - Persian Gates
6. Race: Drever Route - Jim Tango - Bamby
7. Race: Vannin - Allow Me - Carpincho
