German runners in France today

Nancy is not far from the German border and there are always several German-trained runners at the meetings here; this is also the case today, with 15 German runners, many of them trained in Iffezheim. After 3 German successes at nearby Strasbourg on Sunday, there are high hopes that more wins will follow today. In our view, the best German prospects are Jenissej (Jan Kiropas), supplemented by trainer Christian von der Recke for the 3400 metres hurdle race at 14.25, and Zolango (Dr. Andreas Bolte/ Jiri Palik) and Perfect Courtesy (Heinz Hesse/ Antony Crastus) in the 2400 metres claiming race at 16.55.
