Musselburgh and Nottingham this evening

There are some quite small fields at Nottingham this evening, but still some interesting events. The best field is for the 5 furlongs conditions race at 20.55 CET, in which Dandy Man (Saeed bin Suroor/ Ted Durcan) is dropping in class. Found wanting at the highest level, the Godophin sprinter should be at home in this class and can account for Masta Plasta (David and Adrian Nicholls) and Biniou (Robert Cowell/ Jamie Spencer). The 1 3/4 miles handicap at 19.25 sees a rematch between Rotative (Walter Swinbirn/ Adam Kirby) and Hada Men (Luca Cumani/ William Buick), second and third over 1 1/2 miles last time. Over this longer trip it would be no surprise to see the Cumani runner come out on top this time. The best race at Musselburgh is the 5 furlongs seller at 20.40. Once again, a small field, but most of them have chances. Ingleby Star (Neil Wilson/ Gary Bartley) and Raccoon (Rith Carr/ Peter Mcdonald) are both in great form and won over this CD last time, but on ratings Obe G old (Debbie Mountain/ Silvestre de Sousa) and Fivefootnumberone (John Quinn/ Graham Gibbons) seem to hold an advantage.
