Andrasch Starke in Shergar Cup at Ascot

It´s Shergar Cup day at Ascot! 6 races on the card, all handicaps, and contested by four teams of international jockeys, representing England (Hayley Turner, Alan Munro and Darryll Holland), Ireland (Richard Hughes, Neil Callan and Seamus Heffernan), Europe (Freddie Johannson, Andrasch Starke and Gerald Mosse) and the rest of the world (Ahmed Ajtebi, Hiroyuki Ushika and Malesh Narredu). The draw has not been too kind to Starke and his best chance would appear to be the consistent Mabuya, trained by Peter Makin, in the 1 1/2 mile handicap for 3yo´s at 14.45, although recent winner Polly´s Mark (Clive Cox/ Richard Hughes) looks the likeliest winner here.
