Doncaster, Epsom and Folkestone this evening

rather surprisingly Frankie Dettori is riding this evening at Folkestone, where he partners Godolphin´s top-weight Yirga in the 10 furlongs handicap for 3yo´s at 21.35 CET. He also rides newcomer Montelissima for Ed Dunlop at 20.00, Dicey Affair for Gary Moore at 20.35 and Persian Memories for John Dunlop at 21.05 and it will be disappointing if he goes home without a winner. Most of the leading jockeys will be in action at Epsom, having travelled on from the afternoon meeting at Sandown, and both Richard Hughes, on Richard Ford´s Inspirina at 21.15, and Ryan Moore, on his father´s Rocker at 19.35 and Sir Michael Stoute´s Insolence at 20.40, can complete a good day´s work. Best race at Doncaster is the 7 furlongs handicap for fillies at 20.50. With Sir Mark Prescott back in form, his top-weight Presciption (Seb Sanders) has an obvious chance on 2008 form, but she has been off the track since September. On recent form the lightly-raced 3yo´s Steel Free (Michael Bell/ Hayley Tu rner) and Sakhees Pearl (Gaye Kellaway/ Micky Fenton),both easy maiden winners last time, must be given serious respect.
