French racing today

Cagnes-sur-mer stags its biggest jumps meeting of the year today, with the Group Three Grand Prix de la Ville de Nice, a steeplechase over 4600 metres at 15.05 CET, as the main feature. German-bred Wutzeline (Yannick Fertillet/ Hubert Terrien) has an obvious chance here, as she is unbeaten in 5 starts over jumps at this track. However she is moving up in both class and distance, and could find the high-class Musica Bella (Francois and David Cottin) a tough nut to crack, despite receiving 8 kilos from the top-weight. David Cottin could also win the listed hurdle race for 4yo´s at 16.05 on Elie Lellouche´s She Hates Me, while Grivette (Thierry Civel/ Dean Gallagher) can win the big hurdle race at 15.35 and the listed chase for 4yo´s at 14.00 looks very open. Meanwhile Vincennes is gearing up for its big Sundays to come. Today´s main race is the Prix de l´Ile-de-France at 15.50, a monté and major trial for the Prix du Cornulier.
