Chepstow abandoned

Heavy overnight rain has caused the abandonment of Chepstow today, a shame as there were some interesting races on the card, and especially frustrating for Tony McCoy, who had chances of reaching the amazing milestone of 3,000 N.H. winners in Britain and Ireland. He had 3 rides booked, and currently stands on 2,998 after winning on his only ride yesterday at Wincanton. There are reported to be no problems with tomorrow´s meetings, but another frosty spell is on the way, which could cause more abandonments next week.
