All-weather action at Kempton and Wolverhampton

Once more there is only all-weather action today, with mainly low level racing at Kempton and Wolverhampton. This is not entirely fair, as Kempton stages a class 2 race, a handicap over 7 furlongs at 16.55 CET. Only 6 runners, butr some useful performers, including Aeroplane (Simon Callaghan/ Hayley Turner) who won in good style recently at Lingfield, and can confirm the form with runner-up Nezami. However oldie Bonus (Ger Butler/ Eddie Ahern) would be hard to beat if at its best, despite top weight, while Abbondanza (Ian Semple/ Paul Mulrennan) ran well against the smart Banknote last time. Eddie Ahern also has prospects of winning the 2 mile handicap at 16.25 with Wine ´n Done, one of 2 Gary Moore entries, although stable jockey George Baker partmers Kavaloti, who is however having his first race in 17 months. Top-weight Greenwich Meantime (Alan King/Dane O´Neill) and the improving Zuwaar (Ian Williams/ Stephen Donohoe) also look dangerous. The claiming race over 7 furlong s at 15.25 also has some useful starters, and we expect Electric Warrior (Karl Burke/ Darren Williams) to concede the weight to the consistent Desert Dreamer (Tom Dascombe/ Richard Kingscote).

Betting forecast:
1.Race: Five Star Junior - Towy Valley - Princess Cagliari
2.Race: Electric Warrior - Desert Dreamer - Sofia`S Star
3.Race: Marmooq - Wooden King - Guildenstern
4.Race: Wine `N Dine - Zuwaar - Calculating
5.Race: Aeroplane - Bonus - Nezami
6.Race: Blaise Tower - Andean Margin - Luckier

At Wolverhampton, the class 4 handicap over 9 1/2 furlongs is the best race and it looks wide open with almost all 13 runners holding a chance. Top-weight Silver Hotspur (Charles Dore/ Liam Jones) is not out of it, while Emperor Court (Peter Makin/ Steve Drowne) and Dream of Fortune (Mick Quinlan/ Chris Catlin) are two more with strong claims. The final class 4 handicap over 1 1/2 miles sees three last-time-our CD winners in the line-up, Cape Express (Michael Jarvis/ Shane Kelly), Clar Reef (Jane Chapple-Hyam/ Ian Mongan) and Heathyards Pride (Reg Hollinshead/ Graham Gibbons). The first-named, an easy maiden winner here on only his second start, seems likely to start a warm favourite, and although he seems certain of further improvement, may not represent value. Best bet of the day is River Kirov (Michael Wigham/ Steve Drowne), who is having his fourth race since Christmas in the 6 furlongs handicap at 15.50. He was won his last two with such authority that it seems unlikely that any of today´s opponents can prevent his landing a quick hat-trick.

Betting forecast:
1.Race: River Rye - Raimond Ridge - Kheley
2.Race: River Kirov - War And Peace - Figaro Flyer
3.Race: Autumn Morning - Barcode - Thewaytosanjose
4.Race: Joe Jo Star - Mocha Java - King Of Cadeaux
5.Race: Dream Of Fortune - Silver Hotspur - Emperor Court
6.Race: Keepsgettingbetter - Watson`s Bay - Focail Eile
7.Race: Tarkamara - Victory Spirit - Giddywell
8.Race: Cape Express - Clear Reef - Aypeeyes
