N.H. racing at Exeter

Exeter offers an above-average card today for a December Thursday, with the class 2 graduation chase at 14.50 CET the main event. The field of 6 is headed by Denman´s brother Silverburn (Paul Nicholls/ Ruby Walsh), a beaten favourite in a hot Cheltenham handicap last time, and he can recover losses at the main expense of Private Be (Philip Hobbs/ Richard Johnson). There are also 6 runners in the class 3 handicap chase over 3 miles half an hour later, which should mainly concern Golden Child(Nigel Twiston-Davies/ Paddy Brennan) and Pass me a Dime (Colin and Joe Tizzard). David Arbuthnot has the string he trains for George Ward in good form, and might land a double with Dominican Monk (Andrew Thornton) in the handicap hurdle at 14.20 and Theatre Dance (Paul Moloney)in the beginners chase at 15.50.
