All-weather action today

There is flat racing this afternoon at Southwell and this evening at Great Leighs, with some small fields at both venues. The best racing is at Great Leighs, but only 4 turn out for the 2yo novice race over 6 furlongs at 20.20 CET, which should go to Noverre to Go, who has finally got his act together and can be the first leg of a double for trainer Tom Dascombe and jockey Richard Kingscote, whose The Game has an obvious chance in the evening´s top event, a class 2 handicap over 5 furlongs at 21.20. There are 7 runners here, with top-weight Fyodor (Charles Dore/ Dane O´Neill) a big danger. Kingscote and O´Neill could also fight out the finish of the 1 mile 5 furlongs handicap half an hour later, when they partner the two likely favourites, Slip and Grande Caiman respectively.

Betting forecast:
1.Race: Anfield Road - Sensible - Bring It On Home
2.Race: Noverre To Go - Moscow Eight - Newlyn Art
3.Race: Weybridge Light - Graylyn Ruby - Faith And Reason
4.Race: The Game - Doubtful Sound - Matsunosuke
5.Race: Grande Caiman - Slip - Celtic Spirit
6.Race: State General - Hold The Bucks - Night Lily

At Southwell, Moyazada (Mel Brittain/ Franny Norton) should complete a four-timer in the mile handicap at 16.00 after a very asy win over this CD last Friday. There are 6 runners in the 1 1/2 miles handicap at 15.00, including Prairie Hawk (Tim Vaughan/ Chris Catlin), who landed a huge gamble here on Monday, but Orkney (Julie Camacho/ Paulo Mulrennan) and Karmest (AD Brown/ Graham Gibbons) are also recent CD winners and it may not be so easy this time.

Betting forecast:
1.Race: Bold Rose - Imaginary Diva - Chimbonda
2.Race: Blaise Tower - Markadam - Royal Keva
3.Race: Sarando - Son Of My Heart - Celtic Gold
4.Race: Prairie Hawk - Karmest - Orkney
5.Race: Barkass - Elusive Warrior - Boundless Prospect
6.Race: Mozayada - Sofia`S Star - Augustus John
7.Race: This Ones For Eddy - Rosie Says No - Lujano
