Limerick abandoned

Today´s Irish N.H. meeting at Limerick has been abandoned, as the track is waterlogged in places. There should however be no problems with today´s all-weather meeting at Wolverhampton, although the Saturday evening fixture there had to be abandoned when the floodlights on the far side failed. The electricians have apparently sorted out the trouble, and in any case today´s racing is in the afternoon and for the most part under natural light.
