German runners at Maisons-Laffitte

It has not beern a good week for German-trainers in France, and today´s races also look very tough. Main event at Maisons-Laffitte is a conditions race over a mile at 16.20, in which Mario Hofer´s Triple Beat (Jean-Pierre Carvalho) and Sascha Smcrzek´s Fareion (Stephane Pasquier) are engaged, but the opposotion is very strong, and André Fabre holds a strong hand with BaronUllmann´s Echoes Rock (Johan Victoire) and Quest for Honour, for whom Christophe Soumillon has surprisingly been booked. Kalawa (Waldemar Himmel/ Hana Mouchova) and More Applause (Hofer/ Katharina Werning) both run in the claiming race for 3yo fillies.
