today at the Curragh

the top Irish flat course stages an additional meeting today to make up for some of the abandonments suffered during the past few weeks of very wet weather. Going at the Curragh today will still be heavy, and the card has a very end-of-season look. Most interesting event could be the mile maiden race for 2yo fillies at 16.35. With Jim Bolger´s stable back in top form, his Dancing Bandit (Kevin Manning) could be the answer here, having finished in the money on all her 3 starts so far. Miss Keller (John Oxx/ Mick Kinane) and Izagonawin (Tommy Stack/ Willie Lee) look the two to beat. If the latter lives up to her name, then her team can complete a double with Pollen in the mile maiden for older horses half an hour later.

Betting forecast:
1.Race: The Bull Hayes - Johann Zoffany - Smart Miler
2.Race: Greannmhar - Dreams Forever - Brazilian Spirit
3.Race: Musical Review - Triple Axel - Amarula Ridge
4.Race: Senators Alibi - Willoughby Bay - Cotocachi
5.Race: Miss Keller - Izagonawin - Dancing Bandit
6.Race: Pollen - Golden Silk - Katoom
7.Race: Customary Chorus - Alandi - Tapioca
