German runners at Deauville

it has been a highly successful few days for German-trained runners in France, and this could continue today at Deauville, where the autumn meeting gets under way. Kocham Cie (Michael Trybuhl/ William Mongil) runs in the 3yo race over 1500 metres at 15.05 and the same jockey has been booked for Dr. Andreas Bolte´s oldtimer Standby Dancer in a claimer over 2400 metres an hour later. There are two German runners in the 1500 metres claiming race another hour later - Man of Fire (Erika Mäder/ Iorotz Mendizibal) and Alberto Paolo (Sascha Smrczek/ Dominique Boeuf). Some of today´s races are on turf, but all three events in which the Gemans run are on the fibresand track.
