Folkestone and Warwick

Lots of non-runners today at Folkestone after yesterday´s rain, and punters are advised to check before placing their bets. The most interesting race here is the 7 furlongs event for 3yo maidens at 15.45 CET. Deira Dubai (Barry Hills/ Richard Quinn) and Tableau Vivant (Sir Michael Stoute/ Pat Dobbs) are both very well-bred fillies who ran well last time out and could fight it out, although French-trained newcomer Carved Emerald (Richard Gibson/ Teddy Richer) is an interesting opponent. At Warwick, Tim Easterby and his jockey David Allan could land a double with Paris Bell, who ran a good race at Pontefract on Tuesday, in the 6 furlongs handicap at 15.55, and top-weight Medici Pearl, who is going for a hat-trick in the 7 furlongs fillies handicap at 17.05
