Beverley and Brighton

Racing this afternoon at Beverley and Brighton, two of Britain´s trickiest racecourses. As usual at Bverley it is stringly advised to back horses with an inside draw (i.e. high numbers), espeially when the ground is fadstoing fast, as is the case today. Bearing thatin mind, the well-drawn Canadian Danehill (Robert Cowell/ Neil Brown), drawn 15, Srike up the Band (David and Adrian Nicholls), drawn 13, Everymanforhimself (Kevin Ryan/ Neil Callan) and Lord of the Reins (James Given/ Tom Queally), drawn 17 of 17, look the four to concentrate on in thed 5 furlongs sprint at 16.15 CET. Similarly Kings College Boy (Rchard Fahey/ Frederik Tylicki son of Andrzey), a winner last week at Carlisle, must go close in the apprentice handicap over the same trip at 18.15, while course specialist Riley Boys can make it his 6th win here in the 10 furlongs handicap at 16.45. At Brighton, the local Moore family are always to be followed and Ryan Moore has 5 good rides, two for his father Gary, Nawamees in the 10 furlongs claimer at 16.30 and Rocker in the 5 furlongs handicap at 18.00, both of whom should be able to defy top weight. Souter´s Sister at 15.30 and Tina´s Best at 17.30, both for Richard Hannon, and Zaarmitfor David Simcock at 16.00 and his other mounts and it would be surprising if he ends the afternoon without at least a couple of winners.
