Hocquart and d´Hedouville at Longchamp

There is also a strong card at Longchamp this afternoon with the Group Two Prix Hocquart over 2200 metres for 3yo´s at 15.50 the main feature. This important classic trial could well be dominated by the Head family, as Freddie saddles the much improved Celebrissime (Olivier Peslier), while his sister Criquette Head-Maarek runs Full of Gold (Thierry Gillet), owned and bred by their parents. Full of Gold is the highest-rate runner and was a narrow winner this CD last month from Court Canibal (Mikel Delzangles/ Christophe Soumillon), who will now be out for revenge. There is a German runner in the Group Three Prix d´Hedouville over 1 1/2 miles at 16.20, Peter Remmert´s Dwilano (Jiri Palik), who ran well behind Oriental Tiger at Cologne last month and could well run into the money. André Fabre´s German-bred Noble Prince (Stephane Pasquier) looks the one to beat. Other races of German interest are the listed mile race at 14.20, in which Baron Ullmann´s Echoes Rock (Fabre/ Pasquier) and recent Cologne winner Willingly (Michael Trybuhl/ Adrie de Vries) are engaged, and the 1800 metres handicap at 16.50, in which Werner Baltromei´s Genoveva (Domninique Boeuf) and Dr. Andreas Bolte´s Ebulobo (Christophe Soumillon) both run.
