Evening racing at Kempton and Worcester

There is also U.K. racing this evening from Wocester (N.H.) and Kempton (all-weather). Worcester, which has been under water for most of the year, stages its first racing in ages and has an all-hurdles card, as the steeplechase track is still unraceable. The 2 miles novice hurdle at 20.05 CET is the most interesting event, with the unbeaten Prince Taime (Philip Hobbs/ Richard Johnson) and Quinte du Chatelet (David Pipe/ Tom Scudamore) up against the useful Matuhi (Ben de Haan/ Noel Fehily). Best race at Kemton is the class 3 7 furlongs handicap at 21.50. Top-weight Al Khaleej (Ed Dunlop/ Seb Sanders) is possibly a cut above this opposition, but may not find it easy to concede weight to the consistent all-weather specialists Count Ceprano (Mark Usher/ Richard Smith) and Resplendent Nova (Paul Howling/ Jamie Spencer)
