Perth N.H. meeting

The 3 days meeting at Perth, which starts today, cannot be compared to the Punchestown Festival, but is still one of the most enjoyable Scottish meetings of the year. Nicky Henderson, also engaged in Ireland, has good chances of landing two races, the class 2 novices chase over 3 miles at 16.20 CET with ex-German Fleet Street, and the maiden hurdle at 18.40 with Prince du Beury, both partnered by Andrew Tinkler. The handicap hurdle at 16.55 looks very open; Orang Outan (James Wart/ Gary Berridge) won well recently after a year´s layoff and should again go close, as long as the boince factor does not kick in, in which case consistent Border Tale (Jimmy Moffatt/ Brian Hughes) seems a plausible alternative.
