French racing today

there is no flat racing today in France; the two PMU meetings are Auteuil (N.H.) and Bordeaux (trotting). Most interesting race at Auteuil is the Prix du Vivarais, a hurdles race for 5yo´s and up over 3600 metres at 16.35. El Tango, twice winner of the German St. Leger, is now trained in France by Francois Doumen and has top jockey Christophe Pieux in the saddle. He was very tenderly handled on his jumping debut, and although he has to give weight to his 14 opponents today, should be able to outclass this opposition.
