Rest of U.K. and Ireland

While Royal Ascot of course has easily the best racing, there is plenty more sport on offer today, with flat racing this afternoon at Redcar and Musselburgh, and this evening at Ayr, Goodwood and Newmarket in the U.K. and in Limerick and Down Royal (a mixed meeting) in Ireland. The listed race at Limerick over 11 furlongs at 20.00 CET is the best of these races; the two improving 3yo´s Aliyfa (John Oxx/ Niall McCullough) and Dance Pass (Dermot Weld/ Pat Smullen) could well fight out the finish, although all 6 runners will have their supporters. In England, the 1 3/4 miles handicap at 21.20 at Goodwood looks the best event; Kirsty Milczarek has apparently been taking riding lessons from Kieren Fallon and she can take this on William Haggas´ Storyland.
